Possibly the BEST worst service I have ever had!! The attitude of all the staff is disgusting. Thank goodness we didn't choose to go on one of their bad days.Throwing menus at the table. Constantly telling us to hurry up. We were pretty much thrown out, despite lots of empty tables.Reminds me of my retail employment and all the things I wished I could have said to customers.Now if you got THIS far, congratulations you obviously have a great sense of humour. How the staff stay in character blows my mind. They are are rude, but not derogatory and all in light hearted fun.The food was amazing. Definitely recommend the Basic Karen burger, and the waffles. Waffle portions are huge though. Pricing is on the med - high side, but in line with the 'experience' you receive.Highly recommended, I'm so glad I got the chance to go. We celebrated my friends birthday and she copped the nastiness the worst and we enjoyed it.

We went for daughter's birthday expecting a combination of entertaining insults and nice burgers. We weren't disappointed and received both. We loved the offbeat witty bad attitude from the service and kitchen staff, and the burgers and chips were great. Not a five star restaurant but a five star experience. Thank you Karen's.

They definitely live up to their name - rude staff, great burgers!Karen's Diner is an experience in an of itself. It's not just about the fantastic food, but the overall moody energy the restaurant and their staff exudes.We tipped them 25% and would be coming back for more of their staff's attitude, as well as their mean burgers.

Before writing this review, I want to note that I understood the premise of Karen's before going in and what it was all about - i.e. the staff are intentionally rude as a form of entertainment.With regards to the waitstaff, it was definitely entertaining in some parts, less so in others. During my visit to the restaurant, there was one particular member of the waitstaff who was particularly entertaining and her approach to how she was rude" was quite creative and witty which made speaking with her
