A beautiful little church carved into the side of a hill. Well worth a visit to see the craftsmanship of the artefacts inside.

Definitely worth dropping by if you're in Coober Pedy, you won't see many other underground churches! No bookings were required, we came on a Wednesday afternoon and were all alone. There's plenty of parking right out front, there is a ramp to enter. The church is beautiful - be sure to bring some cash to leave a donation to help with the upkeep.

Day 2 at Cooper Pedy, we decided to drop by this church after noting the high rating.Stepping into the hall way you feel the sense of being in a church. The music (Gregorian chant) was nice. Love the atmosphere and the history behind this church.

This place was amazing. There is a $5 donation entry fee. Steeped in history and beautiful kept. It's underground so it's a sight to be seen. Definitely worth a look.

Magnificent architecture, it's interesting to see dugout as a church, the interior space is so comfortable and quiet.The church is always open for public, just for a small donation at the entrance.

Definitely worth a visit. Amazing how detailed the ceiling is and also the religious carving. Very talented people. Tip for visitors: There’s a $5.00 donation to enter the church, and if you want to light a candle, that’s another $2.00.Pretty church and stained glass Windows.
