Direct Framing

An outstanding service from all angles. I gave them a damaged and discounted canvas and their skill in mounting hid the damage, but also the advice they gave in selecting appropriate framing resulted in a more impressive wall feature than the dollars invested would expect. Very impressive.

I had a poster that I wanted to get framed, not only were they outstanding value, the service was great as was the workmanship and the turnaround time was only a couple of days, would definitely recommend!

Took in 4 seascape photographs to be framed, with a request that they be lightweight for secure hanging. Received the four framed prints on 25 Jan. It wasn't until I got them home and hung that I realised that the photos appeared wrinkled within their frames. Didn't pay much mind until I took another picture in to Uncle Fester's framing service in Kipparing, and mentioned the issue. He asked me to bring them in for a look. Did so. Seems the photos had not been properly trimmed to fit within the mount/frame and had 'rucked up'. He re-fit the pics, and all is now as it should have been in the first instance. The first 4 attached images illustrate the issue (before it was fixed!). The final image shows three of the pictures in the same (lightweight) frames and mount, wrinkle free.

These guys were fab! They helped me organise a project whilst I was overseas so it would be ready for me coming home to Australia. They made the whole process easy and the finished product was perfect and loved by the recipient! Thank you to all at Direct Framing.

Superb service. They made every endeavour to get a picture framed for me in time for my husband's birthday with very little notice. I told her that i didn't expect them to have it done in such a short time as it was my fault for getting it to them late but she was so helpul and said she'd see what they could do. She came through for me and i had it within a couple of days. So happy with the finished product. Thankyou again. Can't wait to surprise him!

Bitter sweet best describes my experience here. I took 2 jobs to be framed at the same time and got 2 different results. The first frame was excellent, the frame and border colour was exactly what was discussed during consultation. The second was a major disappointment, the frame bordering gained an extra colour that was not approved and the picture itself was not framed with an even border around it which was the main criteria of the job. Pricing was very good but when only one frame is worth hanging on the wall it doesn't end up cost effective at all.

Job update did not exist, customer service was terrible. Yvonne needs a lot of training on customer service. Put in 2 paintings to be framed was told that it’s going to take 2-3 weeks and we were okay with it. Thereafter, we rang to know if the paintings was ready because we have outside contractors ready for the pick up. We were told that it was not ready yet and it will not be till next week. Week after that we have not heard from Yvonne again so we called to confirm and been told the same as previous week. This has been like this for a couple of months. Yvonne never called us to let us know what is happening with our painting unless we asked. Until the last moment that the painting was ready, yet she has not let as know that they were, we called if it was possible for the contractor to pick them up. Also, she changed the frame of one of them without consulting us first. Very unprofessional. We will never go back direct framing again. Acknowledge supply issues, however Yvonne should have informed us for the delays.Note: never once Yvonne have called us during these period.
