Andrew from Petersen's was incredibly generous, efficient and friendly! Not to mention his staff were so nice. Having a mechanic you can trust and communicate clearly with is very important to me. Would recommend 10/10.

If you are looking for a honest and reliable mechanic then Petersen’s motor repair is the place to go. My partner loves them for his services and they were amazing with mine- even offering to drop you home and calling before doing any work. They even helped me this morning last minute when I had a mini freak out about my car not working before open hours. Thank you so much it means the world and I won’t be going anywhere else in future.

I had a friend recommend this place to me & I'm glad he did. The staff are all lovely, friendly & helpful & very efficient. They even drove me home when I dropped off the car & picked me up & took me back to pay the bill & retrieve my car. I was given an itemised bill that explained in detail, everything that was done & what was checked or tested. They also explained what needed to be done & if it was urgent or not & why. Very impressive & would highly recommend them to friends & family!

I had booked in to receive my major 90,000km service on a Triton ute. This had been organised for days. They were aware that I was not local. I was coming from the rual country. I had previously been coming here for years. After driving here for 3 hours they told me they could no longer fit it in all on the same day. Absolutely frustrated as we had just driven so far we had to leave it in over night, find a way back home which was another 3 hour drive. Coming back the next day yes another 6 hour return trip we heard a rattle. Looking under the bonnet they had done something to my fan cover. The cover itself was snapped and my fan all in terrible shape. After sending pics and back and forth communication all they could offer was to send a new cover in the mail once they receive it and I would have to put it all back in place myself. No mention of the actual can itself getting fixed. I am in the process of asking my bank to return my money so I can take my car to the local mechanic to get it properly looked at and fixed. I can not express how disappointing and disgusted in the business I am. Unfortunately I could never recommend this business to anyone after my experience here this week.

Absolutely first rate service and general helpfulness when we had a few problems with our 19yo Laser. Andrew was very helpful in how to fix the car without spending a lot of money on a car that's nearing end of life.

Best mechanic. So friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Took car in for rwc, yes a few things to fix, but he took the time to show me and also pointed out future issues. He Has a lot of knowledge about a wide range of cars. Normal mechanic costs but comes with friendly service and comfort knowing your car was fixed properly.

Great service. Car broke down. Towed it to Petersen's about midday, as that's where we service our cars. Was initially advised that there may be a fault with the fuel line which can cost between $600 & $800. After thorough investigation, they found that a part had fallen off and fixed it that afternoon. Total cost $190. How cool. They proved to us how they look after their customers. They are definitely not money hungry. Very personable.

I trust Petersons to look after my car well even though she is getting on a bit, and that is why I keep going back. I recommended them to my sister and brother in law and a couple of others. Thank you Andrew.

I got the rear diff bushes replaced on my falcon as they all needed replacing. Just under a week after getting it fixed I started getting some noises from the back. I called them and told them I got a noise after they replaced the diff bushes. Andrew inspected my vehicle and tried to tell me it was the rear shock making the noise. After they inspected it I went home and had a look for myself. Turns out the noise I was hearing wasn’t the rear shock absorber like Andrew said it was it was actually the centre diff bush causing the problem so I went back in and told Andrew it’s the centre diff bush is the issue. He agreed it was the centre diff that’s the issue. He tried telling me that it’s installed correctly because it was a aftermarket bush but it wasn’t, it was sticking out by about a 1/2 a inch. The reason way that diff bush wasn’t installed correctly is because they forgot to put the washer on to stop it from sliding out.While trying to sort this issue out Pauline spoke to me rudely multiple times on the phoneI definitely won’t be recommending these guys to anyone after the issue I have had with them
