Cheese pastizzis are very dry very hard at the end I had no ricotta in 1 of them no taste will not buy again

Have had pastizzis over the years and they have been ok , but had some tonight cooked in an airfryer and they were unbelievable,the airfryer made all that pastry pop so well , its the only way to cook them , 10 mins turned a few times and perfect , everyone that ate them couldnt believe how good they were,now to try some other flavours , cant wait for a pizza oneAs to those that burnt them , seriously you need instructions how not not to burn things ? Lol

HiI wanted to give you some feedback on your pastizzi.I bought a bag of peas pastizzi and was looking forward to eating them tonight.When i cooked 6 of them and had a bite i hardly saw any peas filling i was very disappointed as we have always bought the pastizzi from you, even going to st marys to buy from your shop.I think you should do something about this as people will stop buying them .I didnt buy them to eat the pastry.

I once again was disappointed. Bought the pizza flavoured version. Absolutely horrible. I’ve had pizza flavoured ones from other companies and loved the flavour. These are mushed together filling with a strong vinegar flavour. No pizza flavour at all. Absolutely vile and very disappointed. I’m a serious cook and know what I’m talking about. These are disgusting and I’ve eaten two just to be sure and I’m feeling like I’m waiting to get food poisoning. The flavour is terrible. No more buying any more of this brand!

Tried the chicken and curry pastizzi and must say this is one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth. Did not see one bit of chicken in there. Four of us tried one and all said the same thing. Will never buy these ever again.

I wish you could have give me an opportunity to simply make a comment rather than rate you, as It’s not fair to rate you over my issue.But you have given me no other option so it’s a pity.I LOVE your ricotta cheese and spinach pastizzis!But yet again I have followed your cooking instructions and they have come out absolutely black and destroyed.Most sellers say to cook for less time so buyers think it’s quicker, but you tell buyers to cook them until they are ash, and inedible.Luckily I bought 2 packs so the next one is in and It is not about my oven- you need to reduce your cooking time by 15 minutes or refund everyone who has burnt your pistazzis and them go hungry.As said, I don’t want to give you 1 star as they are very good, but you don’t allow comments so 1 star it is.

Also called Mario’s Pastizzi.The owner is really friendly and the prices are really good.They mainly sell frozen pastizzi that they make there but you can also order cooked pastizzi for pick up as they have an oven there.If you want freshly cooked pastizzi, it’s best you order it in advance, although I’m sure they would be happy to do it on the spot if you’re willing to wait a bit, haven’t asked though, so take this with a grain of salt.

Just bought some from the fruit shop at Plumpton took them home and cooked them and all I can say is “they were tasteless and had very little filling I bought the peas and the cheese and both the pastry was terrible so I guess that will be the last time I will get them.” They are smaller then what they use to be there was a time when I couldn’t fit 12 on a baking tray now it only took 3/4 of the tray to fit all twelve.

We love Mario's Pastizzes! So delicious - a great snack. Our favourites are the pea ones, but we also love the ricotta, spinach and ricotta & chocolate ones. We recently discovered there are some different options as well which we are keen to try. I used to have these with my family when I was younger living in Sydney, and we were absolutely elated to find them at our local fresh food store all the way in Canberra! So good - highly recommend!
