Beautiful tour! Pilot made sure everyone had equal photo opportunities. Seaplane was under maintenance which was disappointing :(

A great experience, we had David who was funny and also good with our kids. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Wearing the mask on the helicopter was super hot!I would recommend this, it was one of our highlights of our trip.

We booked a cruise with a return flight through an agent with Hamilton Island Air and we had a great experience. It is without a doubt the best way to see the scale of the reef and Whitehaven beach. Just a spectacular experience and it's nice not to be stuck on (another) boat for 3/4 hours. We did Whitehaven beach on another day, landing on the island, going up to the lookout in front of Hill Inlet then across to the main beach and then a short snorkel. The helicopter is definitely the way to do it, not only because of the angle, but the time spent, the dramatic impact of seeing the 'photograph' with a dynamic aspect, not getting burned in the sun, stinging salty water (the sea in the Whitsundays was excessively salty when we went and my eyes took about 5 minutes to stop stinging, my son about 10 minutes plus the joy of washing out his eyes with water) and back to a nice lunch when you're ready. The landing at Hamilton Island Airport is also quite a cool experience. You don't normally get to see the runway approach in a commercial jet so that was very cool. Pilot was very friendly, happy to answer any questions and provided some good recommendations.

A trip to Hamilton island is incomplete without a helicopter tour. I have been on many helicopter tours around the world and these guys do it best. Our pilot David was a legend! He was polite, informative and attentive.My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves the whole tour. I couldn’t recommend these tour operators more.
