I have 5 Oki printers. Recent experience has been terrible. Purchased a MC873 Multi-Function A3 Colour printer. Paper feed did not work from day 1. Took 2 attempts and to fix and about 2 months. Most recently a MC573 under warranty failed. It was attended on site and the repair job was too big to do on site. I had to pay to drop of an pickup to the service agent. Printer has been out of service for 3 months. OKI said they would provide a refund as it was a major failure and was taking so long and they do not have suitable replacement printers. This was a tactic to get me to stop worrying about the repair. 3 months later notified by Hamed at OKI printer is ready and a refund is not available. As I needed a printer, I had to buy one so now I have an extra. At least when the toner runs out I will not waste my money on the OKI. Be careful OKI products are poorly supported and they offer little backup service. Not business grade machines.

Really disappointed with OKI. I bought 2 new printers about 2 years ago at the same time after having an OKI printer for 10 years. Both had the same error message at the same time - to call a technician. It is actually cheaper to buy a new one. Clearly planned obsolescence at about 2 years. I was totally an OKI advocate before this. After attempting to connect to the customer service which is non existent in Australia, I was put through to the USA, where they not being awake when we, they had a message service to take my number. Having heard nothing...I will move on to a new brand for my expanding company.

It would be great if OKI would be available for technical support but they seem to be a big faceless company that was happy to take my $20,000 for my printer but seem impossible to get the basic of support when I need it.

Purchased a new MC873DN (NZD $3k) and 1 month later it stopped working. Authorised service technician eventually tracked the fault back to a failed mainboard, this took over a week. We were told by Oki Australia they would not exchange the machine and would make us wait for a new mainboard (2 week wait so far). Disgraceful service on a brand new machine that is basically an out of box failure. Would never recommend OKI based on their customer care".Update - they replaced the printer with a similar model; giving them an extra star for doing the right thing eventually"

Brilliant product and great people! I have owned my OKI MC362 for many years (7?) and it has been a reliable workhorse. This week I had my first ever problem with it, a weird paperjam deep inside the machine. I called the OKI Support number and they guided me through the process on the phone, to get it out, it was easy. Even all the backlogged print jobs just printed out, great!
