TOKYO BENTO
Nice atmosphere and good food. Fun with the addition of a sushi train. Not much seating but that adds to the charm. Would suit a casual date night.

Nice Food very enjoyable sushi train, I would have placed the chairs around the other way so you not constantly turning around to see what is coming, but all up nice experience especially enjoyed the steamed pork buns, the squid was a little overcooked and think it could do with a few more flavour combos. Staff was friendly and found the restaurant clean and tidy

It has all the looks and none of the heart. The selection on the sushi train was limited. We weren’t even greeted at the door or brought menus, just a wave to say we could sit down. The katsu chicken was well over cooked and my first bite was all oil soaked gravel textures batter. The salad dressing was super salty and the pork dumplings were missing the roe. Two pieces of tempura prawn was on the most expensive plate. Definitely not worth the money.

There was no wasabi and no ginger on any of the tables or on the train itself, these are very much a requirement of a good sushi train! Most of the items on the train itself were western fusion rolls and poorly rolled so they fell apart easily. The prawns were watery and recently defrosted. The sashimi was an absolute disappointment, very chewy and poor quality. Pretty sure the tuna sashimi is from a packet and certainly not fresh. The crab balls were quite flavourless but at least they were hot. Decor was average and service was unremarkable. They do have toilets.

Absolutely terrible food. Possibly the worst Japanese food I’ve ever had. Their chicken terriyaki is literally boiled chicken in terriyaki sauce. Food handling was clearly appalling as well - I got food poisoning that day after eating here.

This was the worst ever Japanese restaurant ever I have tried. The staff was so unkind and rude. I ordered a tokyo bento, and the shrimp that looked used ones on the top of sushi. The others were also totally different from the menu photo. I will never visit there again and never recommend anyone.

Very delicious Japanese cuisine.You can order through a menu or off the sushi train, and they have various other foods available too (bento boxes, soups, ramen etc.).Seems to be running on little staff as well as it always seems to be ran by the same handful of people. They are all always friendly.
