This place is horrible due to the so called nurses at the emergency. My wife collapsed at home due to a condition in her heart since she born. It never showed any symptoms until this weekend while we were at home. She couldn't talk or walk. I had to rush her to the ER and we were greeted extremely rudely by the nurse with an Irish accent. I immediately understood that she thought I did something to my wife. My wife was clearly almost unconscious but she was shaking my wife's head around and asking ridiculous questions. She was asking me why is she like like this? Why isn't she talking? Why can't she walk? I just yelled for a moment saying how should I know I'm not a doctor? Cz she was being extremely rediculous. I was already in a lot of shock trying to deal with the situation. I had to rush out to my kids who were in the car and she was saying you can't leave your kids in the car as if I didn't know that. Who was gonna push my wife in? The lady at the entrance said it's fine just leave them there and come back. The car was outside the emergency. They ended up sending my wife to Campbelltown as usual. Cz they can't handle anything there. I did not deserve to be treated that way specially in the horrible situation I was in. Later I got a call from a social worker from Campbelltown hospital claiming the report submitted by Camden hospital mentioned it was a domestic abuse case which he helped me clear up quite easily. Such idiots!! Never go to this hospital because of their nurses. They don't deserve to be on the front line.

Not helping at all.called 30 times and even ail referral from gp says iron deficiancy history for last 3 years with report attached. But keep on asking for more reports and telling even if it's approved it will 6 weeks waiting as it's not urgent.iron level for wife 6 and still this behaviour.

Pathetic service and pathetic ED. Happy to give 0 star if possible. Walked into an empty ED at 7 am. Waited for 5 hours without getting to see anyone. Did an x-ray at 9 am only to be told that the doctor does not have time to see the x-ray. The nurses really need to learn customer service etiquettes and care about patients (one nurse in particular in ED). If t the hospital cannot handle 6 patients in ED, it should shut down. It has now been 15mins since I was told that a nurse will come speak to me and nothing has happened.

Spent 2 hours waiting in emergency to then be told we don’t have the forceps we need here for you. A forcep to remove a foreign object from an ear. A basic medical tool. The nurse couldn’t have cared less. I’ve now been redirected to Campbelltown or my GP in the morning. So i guess I’ll go home and put up with it until the morning. There weren’t many people there either, so disappointing that they just didn’t care.

Palliative unit. My mother on her final day was given 2 syringe shots. They told me it was to keep her comfortable. Within 20 mins she had died. What was in those shots? Does the palliative nurses get given the order to terminate a patient's life?Has anyone else witnessed this as I did?

Okay! Where to begin! being unable to walk due to the excruciating pain associated with the illness. I was directed to a nurse who took my blood pressure and temperature before informing me that a doctor would be with me shortly to investigate my condition in greater detail.I waited for an hour just to find out that there were a few more people in front of me in the line. Waited yet another hour, making the total wait time two hours! And after that, I was forced to leave the room.I couldn't be more upset!

IF IT IS AN EMERGENCY DON'T COME TO CAMDEN HOSPITAL FOR YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR SAKE.Empty emergency room except myself and one more person who have been waiting for ages, lady at the glass reception lack communication skills and any care factors. After seeing triag I realised I was in hellI wasn't asked about symptoms or what I am experiencing, I only managed to mention pain from kidney stone was given a pill and was asked to wait in the emergency room.30 min later and no follow up, for the those who doesn't know what kidney stone pain feels like it feel like hell.I appreciate some of the nurses do long hours and tired but we don't visit the hospital for good time and relaxation. We are here because we don't have another choice so a bit of respect and care would go a long way.We aren't bored, we are in need of help so treat those in need accordingly or change career.

Been waiting in this hospital for 2 hours.. my brother has cut half way through his thumb and there are two other people in the waiting room. We were attended at first then bandaged and told to wait. ⏰ now hours have gone by with no one around and no reception as they aren’t staffed. The people who finally went in had stomach pains?? Who prioritises who goes in first in hospital because the system is an absolute joke..

Pathetic. My 8 mths old daughter had a fall and she could not move her left arm. We had a referral from one of our GP. We waited for like 3 hours in ED but no response at all from the team, when asked they still have no idea what’s gonna happen next. Please don’t go to this hospital for emergencies.
