Love Italy Restaurant & Bar - Surfers Paradise Beach
Love Italy was pretty average place, nothing special.Casarecce Carbonara - It is not real carbonara ofcourse, more like pasta with bacon and creamy sauce. It was bland and bacon was not crispy at all. Good thing about it was that pasta was al dente. The other pasta - trottole pollo e funghi - was delicious though. Not anything too fancy but it had enough seasoning. What other reviews have stated is that added cheese slices are way too big and they still are. Grated cheese would be much better.

Our family organised this dinner during a recent stay in Qld.The atmosphere was good. Modern vibes and music. A little" loud bit not so that you couldn't chat it was at about 50% capacity though. High ceilings

Great place for pizza, drinks and dessert. We went during the evening rush however found a place promptly thanks to the courteous staff. Being new were not sure what to order hence asked for recommendations and were lucky to be served by Kevin who willingly adjusted the order to suit our palate. The pizza was delicious and so was the tiramisu. Thanks to Kevin for the amazing service!!!

We were around the Surfers Beach and decided to give this place a try. It was Saturday night so we wasn’t sure if we can get a table. We walk in and was immediately served by a waiter although they were quite fully booked (with reserved signed sitting on several tables) and only able to sit us on a high table which is currently available. As we have young children, he was kindly to swapped us with one of the reserved table. The Fettuccine Gamberi was good but I think it could do better. All the ingredients blends very well except for the fettuccine. The pasta bolognese was so so only but the pizza was good. Overall, we are quite happy with our dinner and the service. I will definitely go back again for the Gambari but hoping that the fettuccine will be better.

Ambience (5/5): There was a cosy vibe to this restaurant (thanks to the people dining)Food (3/5): Food was below average, nothing extraordinary like the reviews all mention. Vegetarian pizza and Arancini was ok but Kids pasta was basically boiled pasta with thick cheese slices on top of it (which they didn’t even eat)Service (1/5): The waiters need some training on customer service skills.Worst part : One plate was dirty with food stuck on it. And one of the water glass had lipstick mark on it.Wouldn’t go back !

March 10, 2022.I ordered a plate of Spaghetti Bolognese.As you can see from the writing on the plate, we were in a restaurant called Love Italy.They are located at 8 Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise.If you are like me and LOVE Spaghetti Bolognese then do yourself a favour and DO NOT , REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER it from this restaurant.Unless of course you like Spaghetti in tomato soup.And what's with the cheese pieces? What ever happened to grated cheese?Yes even after calling the waitress over and pointing out that this was a sorry excuse for Spaghetti Bolognese AND SENDING IT BACK as it was inedible - I was charged for it!Yes I paid the full amount, probably shouldn't have but I did.We are travelling back to Surfers this weekend and staying for a couple of weeks as we do each year.Guess where I won't be eating?To say that I was disappointed is an understatement as we have eaten there several times before over the years.

A lovely find in the outside of the Paradise Centre. This is great, authentic Italian cuisine at its best. The servings are generous, especially the pizzas. The store is open, bright and cheerful. A great place to have a meal with friends or do some people watching. The staff are friendly and attentive. They are very happy to adjust meals to suit your preferences. Food is fresh and served quickly. You are welcome to linger if it is not too busy, allowing for a lazy meal and conversation. I would recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great meal.

Love Italy Restaurant & Bar - Surfers Paradise Beach
Just had dinner there, great service and absolutely beautiful food! We had a Mediterranea pizza, a pasta dish with grilled chicken breast and cherry tomato, and the sweet potato chips, delicious!! We arrived at 5pm and the food was on the table less than 15 minutes!
