Richie is a fantastic guitar teacher who is also skilled at teaching other subjects. Specifically, he has taught me a lot about professional music production in a clear and effective manner. His teaching style is straight forward and easy to follow, making it easy to learn new concepts. Richie is an encouraging and empowering teacher who motivates his students to keep going and do their best. Overall, he is definitely someone to look up to in the world of music education.

Richie is nothing short of an incredible teacher. He taught our children over four years, recognising our daughter’s ear for music and lending her the precious quarter-size guitar from his own collection, when her fingers were too small for anything else. Each lesson is custom-made for the individual; Richie sensitively and intuitively builds upon skill development by tuning into learning needs, musical passions and personal interests.For example, he also taught my daughter music production skills and keys. He’s an excellent communicator and gives generously of his time and talent. His friendly and adorable dogs provided the ideal brain break for the kids; they wanted to go to lessons especially to see them. I was present for a lesson the day a new family with an obvious fear of small dogs arrived at the door. The dogs greeted them with their usual boisterous affection. It is unfortunate this family felt the need to write a negative review when they didn’t stay for one lesson. They have missed out on tuition from one of the finest.

Pareesh is wrong about this teacher and the teacher's home. Our son and our friend's kids have been students of Richie's for many years and the home classroom Richie provides for a student's convenience (when requested by the student) has friendly small dogs, welll controlled and playful. The little girl in the Pareesh review was unaccustomed to dogs and Pareesh should not have entered a property with dogs as Pareesh himself was terrified of even a friendly small dog, and the child mimicked their parent. The dogs are child friendly and had simply greeted the girl in a friendly way. Best bet initially is simply to have the lessons in your own home, where Richie can travel, until his business can recover, and Google removes the offensive and subjective review. Pareesh's deliberate interference in the smooth running of a model suburban business in Adelaide is an unwarrented attack on Australian culture. Richie is the best guitar teacher in Adelaide by far, and anyone in the live acoustic gigs business here will tell you so! Richie is also a great performer and relies on teaching, performing and composing. He was not expecting and did not deserve this sideswipe out of the blue. The review may have been there for some months, and we, the happy customers who support Richie's professionalism 100%, have requested google to take it down.

Richie is everything I was hoping for in a teacher. This guy really knows his stuff but extremely humble in his experience and abilities. It's one thing to be able to play but another to be able to teach in a comprehensive way that a beginner can follow. I don't feel pressured to know things and Richie doesn't mind at all spending the extra time it may take to grasp something. So if your considering doing lessons don't go past Richie he is an amazing guy and I highly recommend
