Such a beautiful building and setting. Has a Mediterranean feel. Great outdoor games for the kids, a picturesque lake and swing. Wine was also very good and reasonably priced.

This is definitely not a place to go for a group setting. I called in advance for a party of 10 for a tasting and to enjoy the afternoon. I inquired about their pizza and they advised me it wasn’t set up just yet but they have cheese platters. Seeing it was my birthday and just a way for a few close friends to enjoy the day together was not at all how it turned out.Only an hour into our “tasting” we were being advised that we needed to leave as they only allow around an hour for tastings. 2 friends purchased cheese platters and when telling the owner more people would be purchasing cheese he responded “that’s all you get.”He then proceeded to tell me we needed to leave as they were unaware it was my birthday and we were only booked in for a tasting.I had my 4 month old baby with me and from what I’ve ALWAYS experienced at wineries, you do a tasting, and then typically stay and enjoy some wine that you liked. We arrived at 12:30 and were being kicked out by 2:00. Hardly enough time to even enjoy the vineyard. He was extremely rude not only to me but my guests as well.I left a review on their Facebook page (only saying they were extremely rude and there wasn’t enough cheese platters to go around for our group) and received a threatening inbox message saying “if I didn’t take my review down they would take action without prejudice and with no further contact to me.”They were extremely unprofessional and ruined the entire day for myself and my close friends. We spent around $300 in wines and food and our business was greeted with contempt. It’s not easy getting out with a new baby and I left in tears from the way I was treated and felt extremely embarrassed in front of my guests.I feel as though people do need to know about this considering they removed my Facebook review and others to hide the truth of their establishment.I do not recommend this winery as there are so many other beautiful places to choose from in the Adelaide Hills that will appreciate your business and allow you to appreciate the serenity of the Hills Wine. The vineyards response to this review is fabricated as no one was swearing or using profanities. The police were never called. We were a group with children for crying out loud. As if we’d behave in such a disgraceful manner. Yes, we did in fact leave at 3 as we had to wait for my 10 year old daughter to be dropped off to us after a sleepover. I told him this in the very beginning as well. I also told him it was my birthday in conversation when we started our tasting.Saying they waved our tasting fee is laughable.. as they should! We spent over $300! I guess if you are celebrating any kind of occasion be sure not to choose this as your venue. If by bringing food (someone made me a cake) they clearly are not a venue that wants a group to enjoy themselves and wish them well. The wines are nothing to excite your palate either. Very young lacking body.

My favorite winery - a must stop!Relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Perfect for all seasons as there are fireplaces for winter and outdoor games for kids (or adults!) in the summer.Great wines - my favorite is the Tempranillo which is currently sold out but hopefully they have a new batch soon.Only cheese platters are served here as of June 2019, but they are good quality platters!

What an amazing vineyard! From the minute you drive through the gates you feel transported to Tuscany! The drive to the cellar door is literally between the vines. The cellar door is an amazing building, well thought out architecture and the ambience is warm and inviting. The decor has been carefully selected with many eclectic pieces. No hard pressure sell here. The wines are delicious and the prices are fabulous. The gardens have been designed to capture many aspects of the area and the planting has been beautifully and carefully done. You wander through different areas of the garden, you pass a pond, a swing in a tree, a large lake with wild birds, loads of gorgeous metal tables and plenty of seats to simply sit, relax and soak up the glorious surroundings. Absolutely a gem and delight to visit. We will return to enjoy a cheese platter and bottle of wine and sit in one of the beautiful gardens. Highly recommend this vineyard.

Great stop in for a few glasses of wine and a platter. Sat upstairs on a nice day and it was perfect up there, platter was a nice size and reasonable for the cost. Enjoyed the sparkling and the Chardonnay. Lovely grounds and atmosphere, would go again.

Beautiful winery. The outdoor area is amazing. It has games to play outside such as jenga, connect 4, ping pong..The wines are tasty. Specially the wooden chardonnay and the tempranillo.

Lovely vineyard . Family owned and very family friendly . Visited many times and this time with 4 young children and a dog . Great setting , plenty of entertainment and space for the kids and plenty of space to relax for the adults . Owners always welcoming and always enjoy the small expanding wine collection . If visiting toward the end of the day the sunset views are hypnotic particularly if you add a glass of wine and a cheese platter !

One of the loveliest cellar doors to visit in the Adelaide Hills! Great to take kids or a small group as you can enjoy the games like jenga, chess etc outside whilst wine tasting... oh and the wine is amazing! Seriously amazing Pinot & Chardonnay which is underrated amongst many... just seriously chill and enjoy
