GymbaROO Lane Cove/Greenwich

I had both of my kids attend Gymbaroo Greenwich and Lane Cove over 5 years. Christine and the team are so lovely and my kids just loved going each week. Very knowledgable and helpful! Thanks for the great memories

A professional and caring team!

Gymbaroo is a fantastic concept where babies get to do gym (baby gym) activities for the first 20 minutes of the lesson and remaining 25min is with teacher Christine in room upstairs where she teaches different exercise, activities to help babies reach their developmental milestones. She is very knowledgeable and answers all your questions with ease. My daughter started at 3 months and it was very helpful. Highly recommend it. Close by public transport and easy to find parking to if you are driving.

I highly recommend GymbaROO Greenwich to any parent looking for a fun and worthwhile activity for their baby, toddler or preschooler.Christine and her team are highly skilled at providing a gym environment that is happy and safe, and the classes are full of fun whilst also being based on sound child development principles.There is a wealth of knowledge and support given to parents and the staff will always go the extra mile for the kids.My daughter currently attends a class here and my son has previously. They have both loved it and I know the benefits for them will be long lasting.Thank you to Christine and the team!

Negligent staff and a lack of safety awareness.We had an incident at the end of a Wombat class, while my wife was packing and getting ready to leave, our 6mo baby was playing on a gym mat under some monkey bars where several weighted gym balls were hanging.Without any explanation or warning, the gym assistant walked over to them, stood over our baby and decided it was perfectly safe to start unpacking that particular gym equipment and dropping those weighted gym balls right next to our bub. My wife was so shocked by her gross lack of safety awareness, she had to just grab our baby and never went back.UPDATETo prove our review was a true account of the events that took place please see the attached photos.

My daughter has been attending Gymbaroo since she was 4 months old. At the time I was a 40 year old new mum who had recently moved to the area.It was the best decision we made. Christine is an amazing teacher who each week has helped develop my Ruby into the confident little girl she is today.She loves her pre class play in the specialised gym set up and managed by Jo. The classes teach the children so much, and are so important for their development. Essential for being school ready. Being an only child, it’s great opportunity to meet new children and form lovely friendships, in a safe environment.I can’t speak more highly of Christine and Jo. Always recommending Gymbaroo to new mums and dads.

My daughter has been going to GymbaROO Greenwich for over 2 years and it has been her most loved activity of the week. The teachers are fun and caring. The classes are always informative for the parents and the kids enjoy all the fun activities.I could not recommend GymbaROO Greenwich enough! 5 stars!!

We love these classes. My child gets so much out of them, interaction with others and learning new skills off equipment we don’t have at home.The staff are amazing and the children are their priority. 5*

My son absolutely loved Gymbaroo with Christine and Jo and couldn't wait to go every week. We attended from before he could crawl right through to almost his third birthday and it was clear that Christine and Jo develop a bond with the children where they are there for multiple, years like us, or just a single term.I attended other early development classes on and none compared to Gymbaroo.Whilst you are responsible for keeping an eye on your child in the gym area, Jo and Christine do keep a watch over the whole area. They will provide a run down on the age appropriate and safe use of any new equipment and also give tips for better use when they see a child and/or parent that could be doing things a bit more safely.Christine's background in psychology, education and OT and her attention to the children also means that she can identify when development may or may not be progressing as it should and has resulted in early intervention for some children and peace of mind for many parents. It should be noted that Christine is very sensitive when discussing a child's progress and will do so privately.
