Des Brown Service Centre

Brilliant service on my 12 year old Lancer this week.Nothing was too much trouble, Travis kept me updated during the day on what they would be doing and the cost. I can't believe how well the car is running ! I've had the car serviced a few times with them now, and won't be going anywhere else.

Had good experiences in the past, recently however went in to get my headlight globe replaced as it had gone out. They said they could not do it on the spot and instead I’d have to book it in because they would have to take off a load of parts to replace it.Then the next day I went down to a service centre in park orchards and they fixed it on the spot in 2 minutes.Was a one off bad experience so still gets a decent rating but just hope if I was to book it in I would not have been charged overs for unnecessary repairs.

I’ve been buying my fuel here for over 30 years. Always friendly staff and with competitive prices.Recently I had issues with replacing a near new tyre due to a puncture. The large chain where I had purchased 4 tyres only 8 months previously claimed that there were none of that tyre available and I’d have to get something else. I dropped in to Travis to get fuel and asked if he could find one. Half an hour later he was calling me to say he’d located one interstate. Two days later it had arrived and he once again called immediately and the tyre was on my car two hours later.I’d been having a streak of bad luck with VW disinterested in helping me locate a drivers’ door mirror for my beetle after mine was damaged. Travis tracked one down. Unlike the large chains where you’re just a number and some $, the personal service at Des Brown is exemplary.I’m ditching VW where I purchased my car, and to whom I’d been foolishly loyal, and taking her to Travis for all future services. In this day and age supporting your local is the way to go.

Brilliant customer service! Travis and the team went above and beyond in investigating what was wrong with our car and finding the right fix for the problem. Very reasonably priced with no surprises. The follow up phone call afterwards was another example of their exceptional customer service. Highly recommend!

I have been a happy customer for 20+ years since moving to the area. Des Brown's Service Centre is the only petrol station l visit now. Cheapest fuel in the area and it's clean too, as l found l would always get an extra 70 to 90kms to a tank with their fuel. I now take my vehicle to the team to get serviced and each experience has been a stress-free and nothing is too much trouble for them. My car runs fantastic now, definitely reliable and trustworthy. l can highly recommend them.

Brilliant service have taken two cars there recently for servicing. They communicated with me every step of the process which exceeded my expectations. Definitely will be giving them more work in the future. Keep the good work up guys and great to have a local trusted team in the area all these years.

Got my partner Hyundai i20 a road worthy, it needed a few parts and fixes and they had the car ready within 2 business days for sale amazing work, then got my car a road worthy as well knowing my back wiper wasn't working and needed a new wiper motor, again within 2 business days had got a new wiper motor from regional vic and car is ready to be sold, would recommend this place very highly, my brother is heading there for a road worthy due to my amazing experience. They staff are so friendly and it's the only place I get fuel in the area 10/10 would recommend

My family have been going to Des Brown for 3 generations. We find them to be honest, which sometimes seems rare in the mechanics sector, but Des Brown Centre are honest from our experience. We find them helpful and courteous. In our view they’re upfront about the costs and expectations and do not do unnecessary work just to take a customer for a ride financially. They seem to always go the extra mile for their customers. As an added bonus, their fuel is cheaper than most places too!

Excellent business to deal with. So helpful and went out of their way to get the repair done asap. From the guy on the phone to the workshop manager all so pleasant to deal with. Local business well worth supporting
