Ballina West Medical Centre

I couldn't have asked for finer treatment or support from the medical team or this centre. Really well-organized. I've visited two physicians there, and both have been fantastic; good communicators, know their subject, and don't talk down to you or insist on being addressed as 'doctor whatever.' Both the doctors here are fantastic, as are the front personnel.

Being a retired registered nurse in Sydney, I have seen many physicians and nurses at work. I recently visited Ballina West Medical Centre for a relative and saw these enthusiastic young practitioners. They were so kind to us and answered all our queries with a smile on their faces. Listened to all the problems that my patient was going through and suggested us visit a specialist doctor nearby. Very happy with the service at Ballina West Medical Centre.

By far one of the worst doctors I have been two. They were trying to refuse the medical treatment of my 3 year old over a 30$ fee I knew nothing about, they do not care about you or your family but money. Told me to calm down when I was getting reasonably upset, not abusive just upset. Doctors can refuse and adult but it is against the law to refuse a child. Will be taking further action, they have made me cry more then once because they cannot communicate and do not understand not everyone is stable after been smashed by the floods and is disgusting. Half of us are still trying to recover, do not go here , and definitely do not take your children.

Just hang up on me while I was talking. Definitely not booking an appointment. Very rude manner.

It used to be an ok doctors office. Now it’s really bad. Most of the doctors there have no idea what they are doing or what you really need. You wait 30 minutes to an hour and are only seen for 10-15 minutes and it’s very poor service. One doctor there badly messed up a very simple ingrown toenail procedure and I had to get it done by a podiatrist a year later and then again a year after that. Last time I went there they gave me completely different advice that contradicted what another doctor at another clinic gave me. Also had an emergency and tried to make an appointment. I could get one but they wouldn’t do what I needed done for 6 days. It was a simple thing I needed done too that would have taken 10 minutes but apparently they were too busy for that. I won’t be going back there. Reception staff are nice but the doctors are hopeless. And in the 2 years I went there I had 7 different doctors because they kept leaving and getting new doctors. Awful clinic. Not going back

Our private clinic could not see my mother-in-law since there was some limitation on new patients, but Ballina West Medical Centre made an emergency appointment! We were grateful for your kind and supporting practice!

Friendly reception staff and competent doctor. No complaints so far.

New to Ballina west medical, was hesitant with the reviews but I saw Brian, a new gp there.Nice guy, professional & helpful, I couldn’t recommend them more!

Such a lovely medical centre with lovely staff. The practitioner was sweet to my daughter, who came in with an earache on Friday evening and was seen quickly without an appointment due to the kindness of a doctor and another patient who agreed to wait longer due to my daughter's severe pain.
