This place has been an absolute fave of mine for 3 years and they never disappoint! But today, their customer service and food quality really shone through!! I celebrated my 21st birthday at Soju, which was BTS themed. Not only did the restaurant manager - Kim, and the team of waiters do an amazing job helping us set up the space, but their lovely service to us was phenomenal, they truly made my birthday so memorable. They tended to my whole family - almost 20+ guests that came - and made sure we were well fed. They even played BTS music for the entire time we were there, which made my birthday even MORE memorable. Thank you to the amazing Soju team today both front staff and kitchen for making my 21st one to remember for the books for a long time <3

I wouldn’t recommend the black bean noodles… chicken portion were quite small too. Lovely staff tho although there were a lot of laughters from the kitchen.

Had planned to go to Strathfield for some Korean fried chicken, however then realised there was one in Wetherill Park (closer) so decided to give it a go. Had the snow cheese and sweet and spicy fried chicken, both tasted great (moist and flavourful). Also ordered the pork bimpimbap which also wasnt too bad and had a nice balance of flavours. The mocktails though were not great, tasted like very sweet fruit juice ‘drink’. Prob will just order the alcoholic options next time. The table ordering system worked really well and was a very efficient, stress free process. The staff were very nice and quite pleasant to deal with. Restaurant was clean and seating arrangement were plentiful especially for Saturday lunch. Fried chicken on par with Arisun if not slightly better IMO. Definitely better than ICG. I will make time to go there and try the japchae and hotpot. If those hit the mark I will update my score to 5.

Been here a couple times throughout the years hoping it would get better after each visit but it wasn't the case. The food is pretty mid and very average which is a shame as it's in a prime location. The fried chicken here is good but nothing that will blow you away. I also had the budae-jigae here multiple times and it's always the same, a bit bland and very average :(There are definitely better places to get your korean food fix.OVERALL,⭐️⭐️2/6for more reviews local, casual and fine dining go to my ig @hangryhawlz :)

Good restaurant go to. Prawn fried rice was good, wife said bibimbap was ok, dumplings ok, chicken was good (i prefer bone in my chicken) and cheesy sausage dog was great. Nostalgic music pumping too! Needs more spicier sauce though.

Lively atmosphere and good ambience especially for younger crowds. Foods really great, good size and flavours.Last visited table of 8, before order we were told only 1:30 seating. Last dish came out an hr later we forgot all about, kimchi pan cake.

It was my first but not last experience. I loved the food. It was delicious, fresh and fulfilling. We will definitely go there again.

Have been here a couple of times since it revamped and have had great experiences. The fried chicken is really good, it is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the sweet soy glaze is delicious. It is all boneless and the price is decent for a whole chicken. We’ve also had the spicy seafood stew which was excellent, japchae which is what you would expect and the buldak bhokeum (spicy chicken with cheese). It wasn’t as hot or as fiery as I expected which was actually a bit of a letdown but the flavour was nice and there was a healthy portion of stretchy cheese on top. Lots of people have the big shared hot pots, which we might try next time!

Was expecting more from the reviews. Was highly disappointed. All the dishes were bland and flavourless. Had to ask for sauce. There was no chili or garlic. Grilled cheese and corn tasted like rubber and was inedible. Tteok-bokki was dry. Tofu and seafood stew was watery. Black bean noodle was over cooked and bland. Chicken was dry. Meat portion was small for $99 a plate.Staff were friendly though it does not make up for the food taste and experience.
