Finden Solar & Electrical

We had decided to install Solar Panels on our roof and hence decided to do some research and also get quotes from various Solar Companies. We received 14 quotes from 9 companies and Gregg Finden from Red Earth Energy was the only person who visited our home and gave us a quote to best suit our budget. Gregg knowledge about solar was fantastic. He patiently explained the various types of Solar panels and inverters and also recommended a few combinations which would best suit our budget. Most of the solar panels available were Tier 1. However, as per our research,Tier 1 solar panels, only means that the company producing these solar panels is financially stable. Gregg was the first person to point this out when explaining about Solar panels. Further more, unlike other Solar companies who push to sell their products which have huge profit margins, Gregg advised us regarding various solar panels and types and recommended a few accordingly. As per our research, Gregg was spot on with the recommendation and we short listed REC-Mono-crystalline (N-Peak) Solar panels. Gregg took the trouble to ring up various wholesale suppliers of these solar panels and also reduced our original quote by $300. He also filled in the Western Power application form online on our behalf and got the necessary approvals for the installation of Solar on our roof. One day before the installation a reminder was sent of the time and date previously agreed upon. On the day of installation, Gregg, Dean and Caleb visited our home and were very professional and friendly with the initial installation of the solar panels. Greg was present inspecting, installing circuit breaker and checking the initial setup and solar panels. Once the installation was complete, Gregg helped us with the downloading of the Fornius app and setting up the wireless network on the inverter. He also took us through the entire procedure for the shut down and restart of the inverter and explained to us the entire electrical set up. After the completion of the work, he invoiced us the remaining amount to be paid and emailed all the warranties and Safety certifications regarding the solar installation. Gregg Finden is a licenced electrical contractor and is also registered with Clean Energy as accredited certified solar installer and hence we were much at ease with the entire Solar installation. We would like to thank Gregg, Dean and Caleb for their honesty, dedication and excellent work ethics with regards to the Solar installation at our home and wish them all the very best for the future.

I recently had issues with my existing system, so I reached out to Red Earth Energy as they were local. Gregg and his team performed initial investigations at no cost to me, and were able to diagnose quickly that the panels were damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced. Turns out they were an inferior quality panel, and the manufacturer doesn't exist anymore from what I could see online.Gregg provided me with evidence of the damage, and a very reasonable quote on a replacement (and better) system. The evidence I was able to take to my insurer, who funded the replacement system. Winning!On the day of replacing the system, the Red Earth Energy team arrived promptly, and completed the work within the estimated time, which helped me plan my day perfectly. In the times that mains power had to be cut, the guys were informative as to when it would happen, and allowed me to work around it. At completion, all evidence of the old system was removed, with no mess left on site.Honestly couldn't fault the service from Gregg and his team. I really appreciated the open communication and fully transparency on what was going on, and am happy the new system is generating more power than the old one.

After agonising about which company to pick we are delighted with Red Earth. True Value Solar our original company went bust and our system was not working in the height of summer. Gregg and the team have installed a great system after happily answering many questions from us. The first full day our new system drew over 38kw the last system did not cost much less and never got over 9kw. There is no one else I would pick to look after my energy needs again.
