Mika Creative Hair

Been a regular since day 1 & never going anywhere else. Mika has taken me through all my hair changes - blonde, brown, pink, copper, red, blonde again, copper again and she always gets it right!!

Did my daughter's first haircut and it was a great experience.

Michaela is hands down the best hairdresser I have ever been to, she is so lovely and personable and just makes you feel so comfortable. She is also incredibly skilled and talented and makes sure you walk away incredibly happy, would not see anyone else!

The hairdressers here are fantastic, and they create a friendly environment in the salon that makes you feel right at home. They're experienced, honest and produce fantastic results (the photos speak for themselves!)

If you follow Mika Creative on social media you will know she recently posted about a client leaving the salon without paying. Well I am that person and 100% left the salon due to the terrible service I received. What Michaela conveniently left out of her story (and subsequent posting of my person details on a hairdressing forum) is the fact the colour she took me to was too dark and I was having flashbacks to past trauma. I explained this to her multiple times and she assured me she could fix it. She took me back to the basin and bleach washed my hair, but didn’t remove the bleach properly before adding another (even darker) colour over that. This was the point I left the salon as I was too upset to speak up once again and be ignored. I have since found an amazing stylist to try and help restore the damage Michaela has done so now I am out of pocket hundreds of dollars and all I have is darker, damaged hair. The only overprocessing that was done to my hair was caused by the bleach bath which has left a powdery residue in my hair and I can’t even run my fingers though it. Michaela also fails to mention me telling her time and time again how triggered I was, and how when I said I was making my phone call, I had tears in my eyes and a clearly broken voice. But by then, she had moved onto a new customer.

Mika has changed my experience of hair stylists. Mika is knowledgable, experienced and KNOWS what's shes doing!Before seeing Mika my hair was in a state. Between average stylists and depression hair - it wasnt great.Now I get compliments on my hair pretty much daily. My hair is healthy, bright and beautiful.I have recommended Mika's services to a number of friends who are now also regular clients.
