Been here twice, and the fish and chips, and the burgers are great. Warning, the burgers are huge and a meal on their own, and their small chips are bigger than everyone else's large. And the service is wonderful, so don't think about, get down here, you will not be disappointed.

Such a clean fish and chip shop. Food is incredible. Nice crunchy fish and chips. The best burgers ever that are huge. Nothing is greasy. The gluten free is fantastic. The prices are great and quick friendly service

So thankful to have a fish and chip takeaway that not only has a delicious menu (Barra and sweet potato chips are faves) but has that warm friendly, family feel that helps bring my own family together for the traditional fish and chips family treat. It’s a refreshing change to all the chain restaurants (and over-processed food) and provides opportunities for youth employment that teach our kids all-round good work ethics (hard work and a focus on good customer service). Big fan!

One of the best fish and chips I've had.Huge piece of Snapper with a crispy batter that stayed that way even after putting lemon on it.The chips were perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The chicken salt coated the chips instead of just collecting in the bottom of the container.Was a serving big enough for two. But I managed to finish it all myself. Just.

After reading lots of positive reviews on toowoomba community pages, I had high hopes for the Fishbone. Maybe it was a bad night, but they were some of the worst chips I’ve ever had - overcooked, flowery and almost like they’d been let go cold and reheated. The fish was rubbery, thin and tasted really ‘fishy’. The fish cocktails were ok but probs had two minutes too long in the fryer.Service was fine and the shop is clean but the food, on this particular night, was way ordinary.
