Warning to other Builders.H&G mucked up an order by sending the wrong timber to what was ordered and invoiced to us.The Timber was for a Regional job so we paid for additional freight to have it to site on schedule for our Trades to install.Due to the wrong timber dispatched by H & G we are out of pocket approx. over $2000 !H & G sent a Ute to pick up the wrong timber a week or so later.As far as our loss of time, wasted delivery costs, additional labour & supervision to rectify their mistake and a request to be reimbursed - we have been completely ignored - not even a reply from their Sales manager !We have been a loyal customer of H & G for several years - now I feel like they played me. They have collected their incorrect timber so have mitigated their loss - as for our losses - cry me a river ""

Didn’t deliver on the day they said, and then they brought me the wrong piece of wood

Very quick to upload just so long as you book your day and at 5am start to beat the traffic

Best Lumber in the northern beaches

I have been recommended by a friend to use H&G as they are the local building supplies . I have been impressed by the service and kindness of your staff. Jack at timber shop is very friendly and super helpful everytime I walked in to the shop and the truck drive who delivered my orders was very kind and went out of his way to drive up our narrow drive way to drop the timbers in our yard. Thank you all for providing such a great service.
