Anaconda Modbury

I came in here for a few supplies today before heading off on a camping trip. I love the service I get every time I pop into Anaconda.Staff are knowledgable and will always offer the right thing. Which happened when I was picking up a jet pilot cooker.Prices are super competitive and being a member really pays off.Next up is a kayak and roof racks, which I know the team will provide the right solution for me

Substandard products and poor customer service!!We bought a spinifex gazebo from anaconda last January, in the year we had it we used it 3 times. The 3rd time was January this year. While on the beach a small gust of wind got up and the gazebo broke. Every other gazebo on the beach stayed upright except ours, so not a big gust. We returned the gazebo to the modbury store to be told its 3 weeks out of warranty. Although it still broke while in warranty. They sust were just not interested in replacing or refunding the gazebo!! It's obvious it's not fit for purpose as it should last more than 3 uses!! We have spent lots of money over the years at anaconda but I won't ever shop there again! The gazebo was left in the store as I'm not paying to dump your useless products. I would have bought another better gazebo if they had taken the money we had paid for the broken gazebo but that wasn't offered.

Poor customer service at this store today, only on person serving at the registers while other staff casually talking to each other. Wanted to get in and out in a hurry as was just picking up last minute supplies for a camping trip. Next time this happens at this store I will be leaving my items at the counter and going to BCF next door.

I regularly visit this store for camping & 4WD purchases. Paul’s customer service is incredible. Very knowledgeable and loves talking all things camping! Thanks Paul for your help again today

Returned an item that I bought the day before my fault item was not what I thought it was. That was very easy and then I bought what I really wanted. Service was excellent.

Bought snow clothing items from Anaconda. They know their stuff!!! Advising what gear is right for the weather and how to use it properly I.e. the more expensive stuff is great if you are going to spend lots of time in the snow. The cheaper versions are suitable for a short time only.

Sales assistant was extremely helpful. Made sure that the hiking shoes that were chosen to try on fit correctly and were comfortable. He made sure that my granddaughter was absolutely happy with the pair that was finally settled on even though they were not the ones she really liked. Lesson learned in this case - just because you really like and want something it may be uncomfortable to wear and not fit for the purpose you need.

Staff were super friendly about a return without receipt and gave me store credit even though the purchase was made in another store. Thanks guys, appreciate it a lot!
