Beautiful coast and a dramatic feature. Not sure if water ever actually comes out the opening though, it is way above the sea.

Nice hike, shorter than expected. We went in the morning and it wasn't blowing but was still pretty cool to look at.

Disappointed with this one. There's a big hole in the ground that you can hear the ocean down. Unfortunately you cannot see anything. Would skip if I knew what it was like. The trail was a bit boring to get there also with minimal views on the way and muddy sections after rain.

Nice walk to the blowhole however I do not feel it was worth it. It was about a 20-30 minute walk there and not too hilly. The views along the walk were nice. The blowhole was not active, most likely due to low tide and calm waters. There is good parking close to the remarkable caves, there is also toilets but there is no drinkable water & a lack of cell service.

Just 19 min walk from the parking. Nice view of the caves on one side. Ample parking and toilet facility available. Suitable for family with kids. On a sunny day, the views are stunning.

Short walk from Maingon Bay Lookout. Unusual blow hole as it is more like a crevasse the the ocean has cut into the rock. Unfortunately, we were there on a calm beautiful day so we did not see much action.

The bad reviews must be from calm days. We had intense winds and large swells, so this blowhole was quite fun to watch. Not a long walk either, and almost entirely flat.

Maingon Blowhole
Disappointing. You practically cannot see anything. If it's just along the way to crescent bay or mount brown it's fine, but don't do the walk just for this spot.
