I normally don’t bother writing reviews. This little gem surprises me in all aspects: beef brisket and wine pie - truly divine; pork and fennel sausage roll - delicious; carrots and walnuts cake - not too sweet but creamy and soft; butterfly cockies- yum. Cold brew is the best in Sydney! Oops can’t afford to miss to say that the boys and girls working there are always cheerful:-)

The single best chunky beef pie I have ever eaten. So delicious and tender! A very busy place. Very small but has a positive atmosphere.

Bread, sausage rolls, meat pies and pastries are always fresh and high quality.

Delicious pastries, bread, pies and all other baked goods. Fantastic quality and they even do sandwiches too - a delicious range of fresh, tasty fillings including a good veggie option. The Coffee wasn’t quite strong enough for my liking, so might have to get a double shot next time.

The infamous Bourke Street bakery. I'm so glad they've opened more shops as I can't get to the OG in Surry Hills! Pies, carrot cake and of course the various sourdough breads are stand-outs. Coffee is also good. Some sourdough loaves are pre-cut, which helps me a lot (my slices are never evenly cut). Can order online and pickup. Little mini cakes are also available. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Quick and concise quotation, no hidden fess and communicated very well. We highly recommend this company if you’re looking at getting your roof replaced. They sorted out all out gutters and downpipes and now upkeep with regular maintenance. Thanks again for such great customer service. :)

We had high expectations due to all the buzz surrounding this place. A strange place to open, locally near us, and in an industrial area. Obviously a smart finance decision on their side. Not that we're complaining because it's convenient with plenty of street parking.The place is tiny and has a no frills sort of feel, but it was pleasant, there's two or three very casual seating area outside. They did well with the space they had.The first time we visited, we got two pastries: the Ginger Brule tart and the rhubarb danish (I think). The Ginger tart was scrumptious, but the rhubarb was a fail because the texture, too dense and rubbery.We visited again recently a few weeks ago for lunch. This time I got the beef sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was fabulous, almost perfect and I would probably visit in future just for their coffee. However, the sandwich wasn't as tasty as promised by the writing on the board. Too much tartness from the pickles which overwhelmed the entire sandwich.The staff was polite and efficient. Even though I found this place 'a hit and miss', I would go again for their coffee and I'm willing to try more of their bakery goods. That's why we gave this place 4 stars rather than 3.

These pastries are DELICIOUS! Perfect for takeaway. I found that despite all the fancy flavours, the classic beef pie was the best - nothing beats chunky bits of meat in a pie!

Best pies in town! The chicken sweet potato pie has a wonderful texture and is a crowd pleaser. The 300ml beverages punch above their weight.
