Rosalin Primrose, Psychologist

Rosalin had an ok rapport with our child but her communication with us was outright terrible. As you would expect from parents taking their child to a psychologist, we came desperately seeking help with our child's behaviour. We were very stressed by what we thought was a serious problem. We wouldn't have been there if we weren't very worried parents looking for answers. Rosalin however seemed to have no understanding or empathy for how we felt.At the end of every session when we asked politely for her opinion on our child's behaviour or even just how the session went, her responses were very short and condescending. It was as though she thought we didn't have a right to know.My wife isn't a pushy person and this upset her a lot. I found that I had to ignore Rosalin's difficult nature and just keep asking questions. Although I rarely got more than a sentence or two from her. Ultimately, I suspected either she had no clue what she was doing or didn't take her job seriously. Either of which is terrible for a child psychologist.Less importantly, but something that was indicative of her approach, Rosalin claims to offer discount for Health Care Card holders. However she repeatedly charged the full rate unless we reminded her of this. A couple of times when we'd already paid, it was just 'oh well, we'll fix it up next time'. Felt like a rort. Needless to say we discontinued use of her services.I understand how negative reviews can affect a business and I'm not a person who would do this lightly. But I don't want other concerned and worried parents to go through what we did and end up more stressed and uncertain about their children's behaviour than before meeting her. Also, I hope she reads this and takes it as a wake up call.

As a kid who had to see her she was horrible said the complete opposite of what i was saying in court which then lead me down a dark spiral do not go see her.

I had to have a court appointed meeting with this woman due to a custody battle with my ex. She recommended my ex be granted custody, even though both children said they wanted to stay with me, that their new step-father was touching them inappropriately, and my ex showed up both late and drug-affected to the meeting.My children were later both beaten to death by their mother in a drug-fueled rage. She is now in prison. But Ms Primose said I was the unfit parent, even though I've had a stable job for a decade and no criminal history.Do not, under any circumstances, see this woman. She ALWAYS favours the mother in custody cases, regardless of the circumstances.

I found Rosalin very helpful with my problems. She is very empathetic and professional.I always felt so much calmer and happier with myself when I had a session with her.Lovely country surroundings and not pretentious at all….very genuine person.She is down to earth, really listens to everything you say and has years of experience behind her.I would recommend her to anyone.

I have been seeing Rosalin for almost a year. I have found her to always be able to keep me calm which allows me to see clearer any obstacles I need to deal with. She is gentle and full of insight. She genuinely cares and listens and I always leave feeling clearer and calmer.I was so impressed with Rosalin and her abilities as a Psychologist that she now also works with my son. She has been able to help him through some tough issues where no one else was able to touch the surface with him. He tells me he enjoys talking with her and looks forward to their sessions. Rosalin keeps me informed of their progress and sometimes I have been present at sessions with them. She is happy to face to face or facetime, which is very beneficial for my son as he is a very careful boy and needs to feel comfortable, which she is extremely respectful of.My 19 year old daughter is also looking at engaging her services as she is so impressed with the results we have gotten with Rosalin.I highly recommend her.
