Smooth first home buying experienceBeing new to the market, we struggled to get our foot in the door. That struggle ended when we met Garth at the open house. Garth has an extensive knowledge of the Central Coast housing market, and knew how hard it was for first home buyers like us. Garth maintained open and honest communication with us and was always available to answer our questions. We looking to purchase our first home. We saw a house on*Saturday- price “guide”, was $1.5.*Sunday we requested a contract*Monday got it to our solicitor and made an offer of $1.7, a price that would “get” us the home*Tuesday my Godmother died, it was my birthday and we found out the owners inspections did not cover the hillside parking structure. We got the inspection back out - they is an issue with it. We asked for one day to get a further inspection to understand the extent of the issue. We were told no. We both work full time in essential services and getting all this done while work is challenging.* Weds we to decided take the risk to move forward and made a transfer for the deposit.*Thursday morning we signed the contract and return it. Then we got a call tell us we lost the house to a offer $20,000 more.We acted in good faith and integrity.We were pressure to move fast - now we can’t get them to move to return our deposit.Everything is not about the money!This is not away to treat people.
