Have been going here for 15years. Receptionist staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Have noticed some staff rotation. One of the very few practices left that bulk bills, however i believe new patients do have to pay upfront on your first visit for adults? They also have a second building in the same complex which accommodates for pathology, mental health as well as other health professionals.

If you want consistency.. this is the place. Consistently incompetent receptionists, rude staff, rotating doctors… the good ones leave, the bad ones stay. Unless management is replaced, this will consistently be the worst experience of your year.Ask for the the horrible Practice Manager; Tanya, and it will be the worst of your life.

Thank you so much to the lovely staff and doctors at the Deloraine Medical Centre. I am travelling from interstate and had a medical dilemma and they went above and beyond to assist, cannot thank you enough!!

doctor told me I should lose weight and that might help my problem, without looking at my medical history or even examining my knee, which was hurting because I had been exercising trying to loose weight......never going back to that weight bias doctor. I guess if I was thin i would be allowed to have a genuine injury.

Last week at Westbury, I saw the doctor on Wednesday who ordered a test for the next day. I organised an appointment with said doctor on the Friday, given a time of 1:30, I got to the surgery, sign on door, closed for lunch until 2pm. Not helpful. I called the surgery and it went through to Deloraine only to be told you do not have an appointment today and the dr had left for the day at 12:30? I made an appointment for after work on Monday which I had to cancel and was told the dr would do a phone consult at the said time of 3:45. Whilst at work Monday, I had a message to confirm an appointment at 1pm? I had a missed call from the dr for a phone consult at 12:55 and I knew nothing of this, phone on silent at work. I finally managed to talk to the dr at about 4:30 that afternoon to be told I need another fasting blood test and did not need an appointment for it only to find out on the pathology website, I do need an appointment. I called pathology after work and person I needed to speak to had left for the day, I was hoping to do this test the next day, my day off from work. I am feeling very despondent about the appointments and misinformation.

There is a three week wait to see the doctor if you are new and the first meeting is $150 cash. Basically that means you cant get medical treatment in Delorain unless you are rich. Appalling.

I agree totally with the other comment regarding the receptionists. Very unprofessional and, as a new patient, not doing the preparatory paperwork. So I get to see a doctor". Who then used his two finger typing "skills" to enter my details laboriously onto the system. And

Wow never have I left such a bad review for a medical centre! Doctors a great and friendly, most of reception staff good... however this is a shout-out for the atrocious customer service skills that I received from a receptionist there called Dion who took 20 minutes plus minutes to book single appointment and was extremely abrupt and offensive when doing so. I’ve left a written complaint with the practice manager, he should not be dealing with customers of any type. It’s my opinion that Dion is completely incompetent and offensive. Horrible!

A bizarre experience. New to the district; had an appointment with a doctor; solution agreed and prescription made out. 5 chemist shops report product prescribed no longer on the market. When I returned to reception with the prescription for the non-existent product and asked for a replacement prescription for something I could actually purchase, I was later referred by phone to a non-medical agency in Launceston. When making contact for the second time, was told I could come back and have the same conversation with the same doctor to see if it resulted in a replacement prescription. I don't think anyone understood the issue, which I didn't think was all that complicated!
