Gladstone Airport

Small regional airport it is clean & tidy. But I do not understand how regional QLD is so far behind in meeting today’s dietary requirements. To have such poor choices in gluten & lactose food is not expectable.

Eat before you come theres no food untill you check in and get through security. The water fountain isn't cold and inadequate seating for longer waits.

Small beautiful domestic airport of Gladstone. Limited flights are available. Most of the flight are connected to Brisbane international airport. Small eatery are available at airport.

Lovely and easy airport to get around, parking is great and easy access to gates. Biggest down fall was getting through security. My 6 year old nephew and I were yelled at by a mature security worker by the name of Katherine (can’t exactly remember her name but something along those lines). My sister asked her to not yell at my nephew as he was a child (he was wearing a hoodie as he was cold) and she raised her voice to tell him to take it off, I believe there is always a nicer way to speak to people, children especially. She asked me to take any chargers and aerosol out of my bags which is pretty standard - I didn’t because I didn’t have any and told her, she repeated it two more time and each time her tone was getting higher. I politely told her I have nothing in my bag. Even going through the metal detectors was a bit weird, three officer just so we could go through? I dunno the whole experience was not nice. The lovely girl at the cafe told me that particular women was known for being rude. I’m not sure how to go about complaints but either way I was pretty upset about it.

Easy access for pickup and dropoff, and the cafe was great.

Good service from ground staff. Nicely stocked and service Cafe. Toilets always clean. Security staff quick, friendly and efficient.

Small airport but have few options for rental cars. I have left my wallet inside the airplane and they have assist me very quickly to get my wallet back. Very nice and kind staff :)

Great small little airport, staff wonderful and friendly. Quick and easy departure.

Terrible airport terminal. Don’t arrive early as there is nothing open before security, and the check-in desks don’t open until about 1 hour before boarding so you’re stuck until they do. There is a cafe in the boarding lounge after security

SMALL REGIONAL AIRPORT - EFFICIENT AND EASYGladstone airport is a breeze to get to, clear security and board the plane.Planes are small propellor typer (eg Qantas Dash 8) and will mostly take you directly to Brisbane.A small bar in the airport for pre-departure drinks (think 200 ml wine screw cap bottles) and a Qantas lounge on site.If your carry on luggage is heavy be prepared to surrender it on boarding the plane as overhead luggage space is very tight (but your bag will be waiting for you as you leave the aircraft!)Just 15 minutes from the town centre by taxi and there really isn't a peak hour" in Gladstone so it's a very stress free transit :)"
