It's ok....you're definitely in the mountains, but too many trees a trees are in the way of the view

McAfee's Lookout
There's only a very basic lookout here. All of the views are currently blocked by trees and you can't really see anything. There's only a carpark. There are no other facilities.If you're looking for a great view, keep going 10km up the road to Jolly's lookout. The view is fantastic and there are good facilities.

McAfee's Lookout
The view was worth stopping for definitely. We went to go for a family hike but it was not really clear where to go, what to follow. We ended up finding a nice hidden trail that follows the road from below. It looked more for mountain bikes I think, but that was by accident following a worn path next to the lookout and deciding to give it a crack and later coming across a man on a bike who pointed us in the right direction. Access best from car park entrance to the right and through a well worn gap under a barbed wire fence.

Nice lookout at Mt Nebo road.It very basic - no BBQ area, no public toilets, no tables and benches.But it is pretty nice area with a lot of trees and nice green grass.Bring your own blanket and have family picnic at this beautiful place.The lookout in next to Mt Nebo road, but usually the road is not busy, so you can sit there having some sandwiches and listen birds singing.Definitely worth to have a stop if you nearby the place!

Great view, lots of parking available and plenty of seating areas.There are also a few bbq areas scattered around which makes for a perfect day out with friends or family.Be mindful that is it fairly high ground so the winds can be pretty strong.
