Hallelujah!Finally owners that know what they are doing!.... the rebirthing of the old Advancetown Hotel, now called The Beechmont Hotel is long, long overdue. These new onwers understand the inherent responsibility to the Advancetown/Beechmont and broader communities. For the GC, this venure is now a worthy point-of-destination and a must do in the 'green behind the gold'.... we've all got a little country in us, and combined with a visit to Hinza Dam View Cafe, a great day out!The food here is moderatly priced and well worth it, loving the texan style they are bringing to the Aussie Bush. AND now offering lunch & dinner 7 days a week??!! WooHoo!Thank you! for putting this forgotten little pocket of the Gold Coast back on the map. Cheers! Bx

Not a bad spot. Band was really good, food was 7/10 pricing was ok. Hope they can keep getting people there so they can give it a reno. I'd imagine they could attract a bigger spending client with some upgrades to this great location.

18 bucks for 4 spring rolls - taste less food. Easy cooked foods absolutely tatseless. Got served a cold burger to.Got a out of date soft drink and got the reply ‘i dont even know why we sell this shit’. Wont be back (:

New owners have really made this place something great. The food is amazing, the entertainment is always going. She has even bigger plans for it too!

Great Pub. The locals are very friendly, funny, and welcoming.Food is reasonable for the Gold Coast, and the Sunday Sessions under the Dome are always fun.Swimming pool with sun shade where you can listen to the band while you and / or your children can swim while still being supervised. Definitely worth a day out with the family and friends.

Best smoked sausage in a roll since I was in Memphis Tennessee, with the live bands, delicious food, BBQ smoker, tentativestaff, it's just a great day out.

After hearing it was under new management we decided to go up and have lunch. It had live music which created a nice atmosphere. Beverage wise lacked on the cider which the wife enjoys and just your usual tap beers. After ordering food it took an hour to arrive for a simple chicken burger and chicken schnitzel. I wouldn't say it was busy food service wise. There wasn't a lot of plates coming out. Also fairly basic meals that should be able to be churned out pretty quickly. Once received it was good. Just your pub grub done well. Schnitzel was on the small side. I'd say its probably $5 over priced for the portion size recieved. So all in all I'd say 6 out 10, they music got the score over 5. . . BUT.... this place does have the bones to be a fantastic live music venue if it can get the patronage. The new owners/management are caught between a rock and a hard place though. The place needs a fair bit of work (especially the outoor area) but you need the income to do this. It would probably help if they had yolo self serve QR codes on the tables. This would help with more efficient table service. So the jury is out. We'll give them a couple of months to find their feet and try again. Like I say the place has the ability to be a pumping venue, just needs to have the right management / marketing and facelift to make this a go to" place to be."

Went here today for lunch. The food was ok - but for a $20 lunch special I don't think it was worth it. Burger was ordinary. The calamari was nice but, as I said, for $40 bucks for the two, I wouldn't go back. Has a pool that you can use so for kids great perhaps a few bowls of chips and it would be a cheap couple of hours out.
