Glenroy Library

In many ways it's a great local library. Quite a few tables with seating. An area slightly more suited to study etc. Public computers and a printer available. Toilet. Play area for children and child friendly computer software on a big screen TV. They run social (?) groups. Daily and local newspapers. Friendly and helpful staff.What I don't like is the parking. Due to its location parking is relatively limited and there is a 1 hour limit which can obviously be problematic however on occasion I have heard staff alerting people if/when an inspector is around so that's helpful.My biggest gripe is the noise. It's usually very noisy in the library and I personally find this really distracting and often stressful.It has a lot to offer and is a valuable asset I'm sure but if I need peace and quiet to read, relax, research etc I would go to a library that was able to provide much quieter spaces.

The new Glenroy library is outstanding. I love heading out there. It’s clean, comfortable and quiet. I love that you can plug in your laptop or charge your phone almost anywhere you choose to sit. I especially love the puzzle table. It’s so much fun and so relaxing. Absolutely love this place. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Peaceful clean and organised. My kids love to spend time in this library.

Continuing to provide excellent service and with improved resources and building, enormous addition to the community. Good parking, much more room for bike parking, children services for the first stages also next door.

Very nice, brand new building with so much room for study and leisurely reading. Multi language choices as wellReasonable collection of books. Separate area for children and parents.

Stunning new building. Been there 1st time since it opened. Staff were very good and helpful and today is Sunday. Thanks guys

BEAUTIFUL library and community resource hub. Cozied up in a beanbag chair for a few hours to work. Street parking on a tight street- Didn't see a parking lot.

Plenty of parking available and heaps of seats everywhere in the library and this library has more toilets than the old glenroy library.
