iCode School

My Daughter began doing tutoring with iCode, the main concept for attending was looking at her English skills and progression. My daughter has loved coming every to every session weekly. The Tutor is engaged with her learning and understands her individual needs. We are very impressed with the program they use, you can tell a lot of research has been put into finding what is the best program for our children and their needs. The communication and feedback about my daughter progress has been brilliant. Very happy we have access to this amazing program and service.

My son has been attending icode for a number of years now. The various classes on offer are wonderful and the teachers are very patient and knowledgeable. Really appreciate the confidence they have provided my son in his skills and communication also.

My son has completed 3 icode courses and has loved all of them. He loves that the classes are small and he can get on with learning and not be distracted like he would be at school. The icode teachers are great with kids and really know there stuff! The short courses are all really relevant to what’s happening in the kids digital world. Highly recommend Shannen and team!!

Myself and my 12 year old son were looking for something different when it came to enrolling in after school tutoring. We came across iCode School and the digital/coding courses they run, along side the more traditional English and Math's tutoring, are very appealing. We enrolled him in game design 1 and he has not been able to stop telling his friends and family about how much fun he is having and the skills he is developing. From a parents perspective, I am very happy with Shannon and the iCode teams communication and approach. The term based courses are strategically thought out, aligned to national curriculum and will ensure students who stick with it will be well prepared for future careers in digital industries (and have a great time doing it!). My 7 year old daughter will begin her first term of tutoring in the new year and she is really looking forward to it. iCode is affordable for either group or one on one tutoring sessions and is in a great location on High st. in Belmont.

Our son says being at iCode is great fun. It has not just taught him how to code but is preparing him for the future, learning life skills and employability skills in a field that he is really good at. He particularly enjoys Web design and Game design and enjoys the company of the others in the group. Staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Before we leave Geelong to live in Melbourne I want to give huge thanks to Shannon, the founder of iCode school, who always gave us sincere support and helpful advice.My son always had a great time at Coding class. Every time after class he could not wait to tell me what he had learnt and how fun it was.Tutoring class became my son's source of motivation for learning. His tutor was very professional and she always gave my son the right level of extension that inspired him to excel. My son always looked forward to tutoring class.If someone is looking for a place for his/her child to learn I have no hesitation in recommending iCode.

Shannon and the team at iCode are warm, caring professionals with a wealth of expertise. They are not just skilled in helping kids meet and exceed the demands of the academic curriculum (in our case, digital technologies) but in understanding each individual child, responding to their different needs and learning styles, and fostering their social skills and sense of self-worth. And they keep it fun! They’ve also done an awesome job of navigating rolling lockdowns and have the agility to keep delivering under really difficult circumstances. Our kids love it.

Shannon and all the teachers are great! We enrolled our daughter in coding this year as a challenge for her to learn a skill that will help her not only now, but well into the future. The variety of courses meant that she was able to choose something that interested her - in this case video games and AR - and learn different skills, while still being creative. She actually loves practicing at home, developing new techniques and showing family what she has learnt. Its given her the confidence to try new things.

I've been involved in learning how to code for Roblox which was a great experience and even made a few games myself. I had never done that before and really enjoyed learning thanks to the staff at iCode. More recently I have undertaken additional tutoring in English and Maths and once again very much enjoying interacting with the staff and other students.Shannon has an amazing enthusiasm for technology and really makes everyone feel welcome and ensures they have the right course for their needs. I really enjoy my time with iCode.
