Claypots Seafood Bar
I picked a small snake head fish for $45 and they decided to change to a big fish and charged us for $65 without asking us. We ended up with too much food and have to leave almost half of the fish untouched.

Fresh seafood? Reasonable prices? Great service by a handsome waiter? Say no more! I got you!A friend and I were going to a concert at the National Theatre in St Kilda and someone recommended we go to Claypots!We turned up without a reservation on a Thursday night and there was only one other table occupied (at 6:30 pm), however, by 7:30 pm, the place was quite full.The fresh bar looked fresh and appetising. There’s a great variety of dishes, which I would assume changes often, based on the availability of fish and other seafood each day.We opted for the whole Grilled Calamari and the Deep-fried Whitebait. Food takes 10-15 minutes to arrive and everything is cooked deliciously.I definitely want to go back and try more things.Very highly recommended, guys!

Just came here yesterday, the restaurent have one FOH staff and waiting to be ordered so long.I ordered the bread with fish like this, somehow, the food they bring to us half warm and half so cold. Bad.They did not even say sorry anw. They only blamed for the chef that he did not reheat the food enough.The entre Tiger Prawn so expensive with 1 prawn only - $15.We do not recommend you guys come.

Such a amazing night out, the entertainment by Elvis was such a spectacular experience, and then on top of it all the food was out of this world. Highly recommend for anyone for a night out.
