I just love walking by this shop! Have to walk in and have a look. Their range is fantastic with something for everyone. Customer service is exceptional with smiley, friendly,and helpful staff.

So much to choose from and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Good prices. Highly recommend.

At first I received great service which resulted in a $200 purchase.Decided it was worth another visit, unfortunately upon my second visit to buy several other books I received really rude service.Didn’t catch the attendants name but the mask she was wearing was inappropriate.She was quite blunt and rude so I left without purchasing anything.My prior experience was great and the staff member was awesome. Guess you really need to pick who and when you visit this place.Customer service should be at everyone’s utmost importance however lately I’ve noticed a decline in people whom care.Anyhow still a cool shop and for the various other QBD bookshops around Sydney they still remain helpful.

I love books, I mean, my social accounts are dedicated to it, I love visiting any bookstore I can find, that's me.So, went in today and boy, it was open, cosy and had a manga range I don't usually see in most stores outside of Kino. A large portion of the wall with a solid range of series but the volume amount was delicious. So I was in my element.Checked around, it is organised, appealing and really made my day. They had a great deal with the Harry Potter books that other places didn't compare to, so I was happy to grab them along with the manga.Now, the staff was kind, helpful and very knowledgeable on what they had to offer, I really respect that and I like how I didn't feel pressured but was given an option. Really like that.Given how much Blacktown has changed since I last been there years ago, it's really good. So, if you are there, go check these guys out, it's not just a bookstore but a range of merchandise like games, stationary, book accessories and a real charm that makes you want to go back again.

The lady was so friendly when I came to buy a book called 12 Rules For Life for my mum, and will hope to come back again!

I was hunting down a book during lockdown that is no longer published. I found it available at Blacktown but wasn’t able to get in to contact until everything reopened. The man I spoke to on the phone - I didn’t catch his name unfortunately - was absolutely lovely. He was so helpful and confirmed that they had one copy of the book! Even contacted my local store to get it shipped directly there at the cost of a postage fee so I could pick it up there and didn’t have to drive over an hour to get it. Such lovely customer service! And the books are well priced, as is the postage!I’ve always had wonderful experiences in any QBD store I’ve been in. I was so over the moon with this experience though! :)

Good variety of books, something for everyone, great gift ideas with their selectiin of puzzles, science kits and other interesting stuff apart from books. Lovely staff and an altogeltger good experience every time.

The staff here are always very friendly and have never gone wrong in their book recommendations. If the book I am looking for is not in store, they are always very helpful in ordering it in.
