Chillagoe Tourist Village
Arrived in Chillagoe with our caravan not knowing what to expect free camping or van park. We did a drive through town and then came back to the Tourist Village was told to pick our powered site and then it gets better Mate for $30 a night or $150 for the week and with the toilets and showers sparkling you would be mad not to come for a stay oh i forgot to mention the laundry $6 washed and dried. Happy travelling

Great stay. They were very busy but accommodated us no problems. Availed ourselves of their take aways. Great fish and chips and the best hamburger I have had in years. Roaming Guinea fowl provide amusement. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the van park. There are plenty of shady spots with lovely green lawn. The facilities are clean and well maintained. There's no Optus signal however wifi is accessible at the shop. Highly recommend.

Great food, good size meals. Deb, Lionel and crew go above and beyond to help you out. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite or stay.

Stayed at the motel. While the decor was dated, it was very clean with good sized bathroom, kitchen and living/sleeping area. Beds were comfy. Air conditioning was efficient and a nice pool for everyone to enjoy. Plenty of shady trees around the property. The food at the restaurant/takeaway shop was absolutely delicious and huge servings! Will stay here again.

Absolutely loved our time here and thoroughly recommend doing all of the cave tours while you are in the little town
