Love the Prince. Old school pub the way it should be. Food is brilliant ina comfortable relaxing environment. Amazing and friendly staff every time I go!

Seriously one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection 300g porterhouse. Melt in the mouth tender! Beers were fantastic. What a great pub. Girls behind bar are energetic and friendly. Family friendly. Will come again

I fortunately on this occasion The Prince did not live up to expectation. What was advertised was not “available” and the staff lacked understanding, communication skills and ability to remedy any question we had. We were asked to pay twice even though we paid… we were unable to order wine and no amount trying to communicate on our part actually worked.

Having been here before and had the best roast in Melbourne at a reasonable price I came again from the other side of town and brought friends. I called before to check roast was still being served. Was advised it normally sells out by 3pm. Arrived at 2.30 to find out there was no more roasts left and I could have pre ordered the food on the phone. This was not relayed on the phone call and the bar service was unfriendly by the staff member who was unwelcoming.

Absolutely blown away. Never have I been to a more welcoming or friendly pub in my life (and fair to say I've been to a few). This place gives definition to the age old phrase the local". The staff are not just incredibly friendly

So dog friendly! Perfect for all dog owners. They're allowed inside & the pub is a fantastic place, good food and large beer and wine selection selection too. Definitely a great pub.

Nice atmosphereGood serviceThe Chicken schnitzel ($15) was generally good. It did NOT come with any siding so you had to add salad or gravy for separate costs. this added to a total of $24, which is pretty expensive.The 3 stars is for the poor value for the money

Don't let the exterior appearance put you off. The staff service atmosphere and food are worth a visit. I enjoy every visit here.
