Embassy Cycling Bike Fit (formerly 'Pave The Way')

After multiple visits to Pave The Way, it is safe to say Tom is an expert in this domain. Each time I have left, I have seen improvements in comfort on the bike allowing me to continue to train and race hard without constantly thinking about what I could change about my position. Tom does not simply offer a one size fits all" approach. He asks about what kind of riding or events that you are doing as well as pain that you may be encountering on and off the bike. Overall

I would highly recommend using Tom at Pave the Way for if you are looking for bike fit and build. Tom helped me design, configure and build a titanium road bike with custom geometry and he far exceeded expectations from start to finish. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

As a former professional cyclist, I experienced 3 years with some issues in my knee. I contact Tom and he was really helpful with me, even during the COVID-19 time, he made sure we had all the safety protocols during the bike fitting. He is a really friendly guy and an expert on the matter. Pave The Way uses Retul as its system for bike fitting. I think Retul is great, it measures accurately your position on the bike. I was really happy that they use it. During the fit, Tom helped me to fix some discomforts that I was feeling on the bike (cleat position and handlebar reach). It's been more than a month since the bike fit and I've been feeling great on the bike. No issues with my knee. I really want to thank Tom for getting me back on the bike. It's great what he has done for me. I highly recommend it!

I went there recently for a bike fit which took several hours, first time doing so. Tom the bike fitter was quite professional and able to explain what he was doing and how it translated when I tried riding the bike stationary plus a few adjustments. They provided my fit data and a free follow up to see if any adjustments are needed following a period of riding.The fit itself was $350, which is hopefully a saving in Time and cost over the long term. I also bought new cycling shoes (to replace old ones) as well as paid for a new stem as part of the adjustments. However, it was nice to purchase these in context of a bike fit and I expected them to last a long time

Tom has been fitting and adjusting various bikes of mine for about 3 years. I’ve also used him for advice on which frameset would work best with my fit. The Retul system makes use of measured and repeatable results backed by scientific evidence. Tom has also helped me work through a spinal injury with a progressive and changing bike fit and advice over the period of a year as my rehabilitation continues. Tom Petty has been doing my bike fits for the last 7 years, the fitting studio is now part of the Embassy store. Tom is one of the most experienced bike fitters in Sydney, his reviews speak for themselves, I never consider anyone else when I need to fit my new bikes. The store itself is lovely and has some stunning bikes, worth a visit too.

Initially when I started to feel some discomfort on the bike and on advice from a fellow triathlete I was introduced to Tom in January 2018, I cannot rate his professional knowledge and services highly enough. During the fit, we made sure that those problems were addressed and I was happy with themThe hours I do on the bike varies, but it definitely improves my performance if I am comfortable on the bike.
