So many fish! My partner and I free dive and scuba a lot around Sydney waters and it was the first time checking out beneath the surface in Port Stephen’s. We certainly weren’t disappointed - as soon as we entered the water they were heaps of fish EVERYWHERE. It’s a good place for those not willing to go too deep If you’re new to snorkelling but also the further out you go the more range you get in fish (if the good vis is there). Would definitely come back. Only suggestion would be to recommend parking close to the entry point and leaving any unwanted possessions in the car as there’s very minimal space on the rocks to leave items

Great place for snorkeling with the family, lots of fish in the sea grass If you have small kids bring some bread to feed the fish at the shoreline, they will school around you to get it and the kids can join in.

A beautiful place to snorkel with masses of marine life just below the surface.The nearby park has cold water showers for a post swim wash off.Highly recommended.

Amazing place to snorkel. You can see the fishes in the shallow water at your feet without having to put your head in the water. So many varieties of fishes. The beach is quite small but gorgeous. You will spend more time in the water among those beautiful creatures. They are super friendly and come super close to you! Recommend snorkel and rock shoes.

Plenty of fishes on shallow waters, make this a great snorkelling spot. Parking is limited but there's more parking near Port Stephens Native Gardens, just further up the road.

Lovely spot. Didn’t scuba but did snorkel. Lovely protected place.. full of fish.
