Pack up crew were excellent, professional and courteous. Prompt delivery there when it was supposed to be.But our understanding was that what was pulled apart by pack up crew would be reassembled at destination by delivery crew. Dining table bedroom furniture was not reassembled.Organisational skills by Michael Porter are exceptional could not find a more professional and pleasant person to deal with.

I rang to make a complaint about an Allied Pickfords truck parked across my driveway while they loaded into it. Kymberlee took my complaint and advised that she would have the Operations Manager contact me, that was on 01 April and so far I have heard nothing, not even a sorry for the inconvenience we caused. Ive followed up with my complaint 4 times now and nothing but silence. I hate to think how they treat their customers who use their sevice and have a problem.

I used Allied Pickfords to move from Brisbane to Canberra in January this year. Never again!Extremely disappointed with the service provided overall. Not only did the items take over 4 weeks to be delivered, two items (armchair and rug) were lost in transit worth about $500. Allied Pickfords also denied the insurance claim as well and blamed it as customer error at the pick up.The move was only the contents of a one bedroom flat so I was appalled at how careless the movement of a relatively small amount of items was to lose two valuable ones. The cost of moving was also quite expensive compared to other providers, so I expected much better service.Do not recommend, I will in future use a competitor.

We moved with them when we relocated fromMelb to Canberra a few years ago. We were happy (4 out of 5) after that experience so we chose them again when we moved within Canberra recently.This experience was really bad. Premium price without the premium service. They won’t commit to a time to drop off boxes, nor to do the packing, nor to do the uplift. Unresponsive on too many occasions. Also left some items behind in the uplift which they didn’t tell us about (we found out when we returned later in the day). Damaged the nature strips at uplift and drop off points. Unpacked our stuff without care (damage to appliances and furniture). When we unpacked the boxes we also found damage to our items (stuff they had packed!). Insurance is disputing some items which is a pain.Will try someone else next time, which is a shame.

Moved from NZ to Canberra recently. Mostly OK service - but frustrating as its been over 2 weeks and the empty boxes/wrapping has not been collected. Inspite of numerous phone calls /emails. Absolutely NO response. Over 140 boxes filling my house :( Very poor service .

Do not ever use Allied Pickfords - they stole thousands of dollars for services they never provided. We used them to move from Brisbane to Canberra and paid additional money for all furniture to be reassembled and all boxes to be unpacked and disposed of on arrival in Canberra. On the delivery date in Canberra only one piece of furniture was put back together (it was done incorrectly and I later had to re-do it) and not one single box was unpacked or disposed of. They promised they would be coming back to finish but simply never came. I contacted them by phone and email numerous times to seek a partial refund and either completely ignored or passed from person to person without anyone ever actually addressing my concerns.DO NOT USE ALLIED PICKFORDS.

I have Used Allied Pickford several times in past for myself and to assist parents and I have strongly recommended to others. Times have changed. Since collecting goods in Canberra in early Feb, there has been no communication in 9 weeks forPerth delivery. I had to chase up and asked where my stuff was. At the same time my daughter in Canberra got delivery from storage. I think they have a contract with DFAT. They were slow, unprofessional, did not wipe feet, did not reassemble beds, plonked things anywhere and were surly the whole time. They showed no initiative in initiating delivery, they arrived late and took no care with belongings. Furniture was dirty and had to be wiped down (not by them!) before use. Such a contrast to the service they used to provide.

Received belongings fine but their communication and flexibility was extremely poor.They only schedule pickup/dropoff times the day before, with little to no communication or flexibility.I called every day for a week to co-ordinate uplift times in advance as the day before our uplift was our wedding - finally after a week of persisting they said it would be in the afternoon, then they called my wife on the morning of the wedding to say they'd arrive at 7:30am the following morning with no options or flexibility to change times...Poor communication all around with times so expect to be on standby the entire day of your uplift because they may suddenly rock up well outside of the times they gave you.

Don't bother using, didn't turn up when they were booked, no communication, incorrectly stated delivery time. Couldn't find our container of furniture. Lots of damage to our stuff. Now I'm trying to complain they don't appear to be even interested. Absolute shambles not even worth one star

I had no idea where to start when considering how to move my household interstate, as if I didn't have enough to think about in selling and buying a house. After speaking to Graham in Brisbane I had no doubt that I need worry no more. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it, he gave me great advice on things that I had not even considered and took care of every detail.Then came the packing and uplift, wow, what a professional operation that was, everyone, took such care of my treasured possessions.The delivery team were equally as awesome. The experience of this business is obvious and the coordination of the delivery went like clockwork. What really struck me was cheerfulness and willingness to help from all of the staff, and there were many, this shows the hallmarks of an excellent company. Thank you Allied Pickfords and especially Graham in Brisbane and Duncan in Canberra, you have my gratitude.
