What a wonderful treasure trove of everything, but especially of threads! Congratulations on your intention to carry Australian products, something that every Australian business should strive to do. I know it's particularly hard to do in the needlework realm, but there are so many brilliant thread producers in Australia who are not supported enough. I had a wonderful time with Cottage Garden threads, and will remember Gumnut threads for future reference, as well as the magnificent range of embroidery fabrics.My next visit will be much longer, so I can explore every room and every product properly. Keep up the good work.

Appalling customer service. I reported a faulty product via e-mail and was basically accused of lying. The staff member's response to my query was rude, condescending and full of attitude. If this is how you like to be treated as a customer, by all means shop with these people. I for one will never deal with them again. Utterly disgusted.

A nice selection of quality Italian spun and local knitting yarns and accessories. There are even some hand dyed options. The owner is helpful and knowledgeable.

Been going to Victoria House for quite a few years and have always found the staff extremely helpful. We have now moved to Bathurst and when I decided to do another needlepoint I telephoned Victoria House to ask if they would send the entire kit. To my delight the lady assisted me with the pattern, Aida cloth, many threads, braids & lots of beads which I received within a week of speaking and paying for my items. Thank you ladies for your wonderful assistance, I know I will be coming back again for my next project.Anne - Bathurst

The staff have always been helpful. The mail order service is of a high standard. Love stopping here on my way to and from Canberra. Mittagong is my original hometown and I love visiting but this shop makes my day.
