Himalayan Cafe
I highly recommend you book ahead and sit on the pillows out back. This place is pretty wild. The food isn't that cheap, the staff are a bit too on the ball and I had to run to bws but I WILL BE BACK. the food rocked, I have lunch for the next day and overall think the experience was one of the best Nepali/Tibetan dinners I've ever had.They even have dumplings lol. Recommend the goat dish.

Absolutely love this little gem of a restaurant. The owner and staff are so lovely, the food is incredible. Great value for money. It's BYO alcohol too.

It offers a unique dining experience, transporting guests to the serene Himalayan region through its authentic flavors and warm ambiance. Despite a few minor areas for improvement, the restaurant's commitment to quality and genuine taste is evident in every dish. I would highly recommend Himalayan Cafe to anyone seeking an adventurous gastronomic journey and a taste of the Himalayas.Karma dai welcomed us in and insisted we eat in and served us with smile even though we walked in just before close.5 stars for karma dai and the team.

Awesome tasting Nepalese food with fast, friendly service.Had dinner here are few times and sampled a few dishes now and well impressed with all of them, especially the momo's and goat dishes.Highly recommend a visit and reasonably priced plus BYO

A fun and cosy restaurant that makes you feel like you’re in Nepal. There is a good selection of vegetarian and vegan food. The Himalayan bread is to die for, it was so good! It was soft and cheesy and the sauce was sweet and minty. I found the momo a bit flavorless and dry. The kidney bean curry and was delicious, the potato and pumpkin was a bit milder in flavour.

This place is fantastic. Been going here for over 10 years and can never fault it. The owner is so kind, the food is always perfect and the detail is always done well. Yum!

Really cool vibe at this authentic himalayan cafe. Was super loud and busy inside (not necessarily a bad thing when you want a joyful atmosphere at dinner) but my friends and i sat outside where it was so pleasant.I found this place to be quite expensive, but then again, we got a vegan entree platter (suggested for 2) and a lamb main and a tofu main. It didn’t look like that much food but between the three of us there was still so much food left!The dishes of the lamb main were all very tasty - though i found the lamb marinade to be a bit bland. The vegan entree, perhaps because it was vegan, was tasteless. The organic tofu was yummy and very filling but the coconut cream sauce was far too decadent and overpowered any other flavours.Luckily, the servers were very lovely and the atmosphere was worth coming back for. I think we just needed fo try other dishes and i would still recommend!

Absolutely adore this place. The set up is such a vibe, it feels really authentic. Love the ambience and the incense that they have going. The food is so, so delicious! The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Brisbane and a must go place to eat at.
