Laurieton Charcoal Chickenland

Had coffee and a couple of chicken skewers for a snack with my father today and we very much enjoyed it and pleased to see this shop still serving the public after many years we have known it to be there.

Purchased BBQ chicken, 4 pieces fried chicken, and chips.BBQ Chicken was moist and tender with good flavour.Fried chicken was a little bit dry (we purchased close to end of the day) but still very tasty.Chips were of ok quality. Not terrible, but not amazing. Would purchase again, especially given some of the other options available in Laurieton.Will be my go-to next trip out that way.

Want to Give No Stars....Staff were very Rude! We went there with my family. Had waited for 20 minutes until they asked what I was waiting for (8 fish cocktails & a chips) then saw them looking for the order, then go to the fridge and put them on. They served people with larger orders who arrived after us and other people who had been waiting for stuff that they had given out. The staff were then laughing that people were annoyed for waiting well over an hour for an order they said would be 10-15mins & a staff member was arguing about putting food on stating a smoke was more importantPeople were leaving not knowing if their orders were correct as staff were unorganised & didn't care. There was a clear lack of respect & care for their customers. I understand takeaways can be busy and hectic at times but there was so many unhappy customers & disrespectful unorganised staff. One customer even yelled out to the public if you want chicken drive to Gunnedah

Wish I could give it 0 stars.. absolutely embarrassing.. I got a chicken schnitzel burger and the pattie was burnt to a crisp and was cooked in dirty oil.. the fowlest burger I've ever had.. not worth the $$.. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Wish I'd looked at the reviews before I bought food from here. Awful food and overpriced. Chips were clearly old ones that were re-fried, served barely warm with too much gravy and plastic-y tasting cheese. My Greek salad was bland, 90% Capsicum, hardly any feta and not a single olive in sight.

Friendly and welcoming, ordered some chicken nuggets and chips with gravy. The box of chips was full.to overflowing, much appreciated. The gravy was a good thick gravy not too salty and very yum the nuggets were nuggets. So they did the job. Kids where happy

no other customers in the shop yet after 25 minutes I had to cancel my burger and bacon and egg roll.

Best schnitzel burger ever! Chips are also amazing and cheap too. Fast wait times and great staff.

Wish I could give no stars! Just got an order from here, their hours say they don't close until 4pm but they said no cash due to near closing (we went in at 2:45), no gravy due to nearing closing too. Then we get the chips, they're soggy and most aren't cooked through, get the potato scollops and they taste like the oil was cold, so they're dry and chewy with no flavour, piece of chicken was dry as hell. So disappointed, I used to come here and the food was great but this terrible food and service had turned me off them.

Old re-cooked chips, dirty oil, hard and greasy as they can come. Worst chips I’ve ever had, even my children couldn’t eat and that says something!
