Great blokes. Having engine trouble with a small 15 hp motor. Grand father and i shopped around for spark plugs and went here. They said it might be old fuel and we asked were could we get rid of 25 litres of fuel. They offered to take it and put it in their drum for recycling. Came back to them 3 hours later with the fuel and without hesitation recycled our fuel for no cost. Thanks guys

Took 15hp outboard in on 5/12/22. Chased them up half a dozen times about it,Each time I was told they have been messaging me. So would give them my number again and told them to proceed with what needed to be done. Was told they will ring when ready. Today is the 6/6/23, went down to get motor. As want to use it, and still nothing was done. Time to find someone that might be a bit more reliable and actually will call about the progress.6months is ridiculous

Great Service by Dave, have a 35 year old motor that after a couple of years of no use had a few gremlins pop up but Dave has done an amazing job to get it running like new. No hesitations in recommending Morisset Outboard Services and their quality of work. (The travel from Sydney to have Dave work on the motor was worth it)

I took my boat to Morisset Outboard Services to check my motor that was not running the correct revs. It is a Mercury 4 stroke 60 hp. My mate thought it was the prop and he had a 17 inch pitch prop as he thought my 13 inch prop was too small. We put the prop on but it made no difference. When I showed David at Morisset Outboard he say both props were wrong and he said a new prop would fix the problem. I ordered the new prop and it cost $385. David know I was fishing that weekend. The new prop did not make a difference so I took it back. He said he could not take the prop back as it had touched the sand.He decided then to test it and found that one of the cylinders was not firing and max. revs at 4000.He did compression test and found some water droplets on top and bottom cylinders and the sump had gain oil. There was no water in the oil.He suggested to remove the head to further investigate. When he did he found not problem and suggested that if he keep looking for the problem it could cost several hundreds of dollars and no guarantee he could fix it. He suggesteed I buy a new motor at the cost of approx. $12,000.I told him not to do anymore while I thought about what I was going to do. I had found a secend hand motor for $6000 in Queensland. The guy suggested that I should get a second opinion before going to Queensland.Everthing Marine in Morisset had just open for business. They are Mercury Dealers. I spoke to them and they said they will have to put the head back and test it.When they started to reassemble the head, they removed the flywheel to time engine and found that the woodruff key under the flywheel was broken. The flywheel had moved 20 degrees.They tested the boat with David prop and got the motor to rev to 5,000. We put the original 13 inch prop back on and the motor revved out 5,500 revs as per original setting.When I told David he said that he was looking for where the water came from. He also said the water could have come from the exhause because the timing was out. He charged me $330 for the work he had done plus the prop that I did no needed plus the cost of putting the head back plus parts. It cost me over $1100 that I did not need to spend.As a Profession Mechanic, I have lost my trust in this person and company. He did not bother to test drive the boat first and was so positive that the prop was the problem.I am grateful that the guy in Queensland was honest enough to suggest another opinion and I am also grateful to Everything Marine in Morisset for their experise.Tony Debono, Morisset Park

Could not praise this team enough. Got an honest diagnosis of the issue. The parts were reasonably priced. And the time charged for the labour was more than fair. I will be back for all my service work and will recommend to all my boating friends

Called up EVERYTHING MARINE shop down the road from Bunnings to ask a 2 min question they WANTED $121 for a phone call.Called this place and the bloke was verry friendly and helped me with a reassuring solution. Hats off to this place, the world needs more people like this!!!!!

Always professional and helpful..Serviced my 115 hp evinrude beautifully.My windscreen came loose, because of a vacuum when towing, my fault, and David and Steve repaired its at no charge.Bring your motor there for service if you don’t want to be ripped off.
