When we arrived we asked for a tent site. Because you cant access them with a car we were told to buy an powered site which of course is much more expensive.After the first night a man came to our site and yelled at us to put down our tent immediately otherwise we have to leave. We could not even explain our situation cause he was just screaming the whole conversation.After a while we got informed he seems to be the assistance manager.Even the staff at the reception and his wife were ashamed of him.

Comfortable stay, averagely priced. Great location for the beach and access to fraser island. We stayed on a powered site and found it to be an OK size. The amenities were clean with decent showers. Good cooking facilities.

Lets put it this way, I will no longer use my BP card at this establishment.I can tolerate having no choice of fuel and having only that ethanol rubbish to fuel up on. What I refuse to tolerate is being treated like dirt by the caravan park gardener come occasional attendant. His attitude towards me on my most recent and final visit had me walking away shaking with rage. Its apparent by reading other reviews that I'm not alone. Our 3 cars will be fueled by theshell across the road from now on.At least they pretend to be happy at work.

It's got air to pump up your tyres after being on the beach. It's got toilets and of course, fuel. The picture behind the payment station of Rainbow Beach is amazing and worth seeing all by itself! Not a lot of space in the forecourt but fuel very welcome when the tank is low. Good place to stop.
