Leah's Wax Works Hurstville Westfields

I came here to get waxed but was disappointed. The lady I had was very quiet, didn't talk much to me, missed spots on my leg and just seemed like she wanted to finish it as soon as possible and get me outta there. For a quick wax you can go in but I'm not going there again. The ladies working there are also so loud and shouting their conversations across the clinic.

Does anyone get pus or pimples after waxing here? I have done Brazilian waxing for 10+ years, and the first time, I have been experiencing it. At first, I got bruises, which can happen, I guess, then have pimples and pus. I'm not sure if it is only me.

Have been coming to Leah and Leah's wax works Hurstville since1997, so I guess I'm an OG regular. Even when I moved overseas, when I came to visit Sydney I would always go Hurstville and get the works done, because service and treatments were the best.Today Fri 18th Nov I popped in hoping for a wax, fast service and no wait time, perfect! Got waxed then came to payment.Team wouldn't take my card because according to them Leah wint take card payment under $20, I asked since when? I mostly pay card other times cash. But today they refused my payment and offered to sell me a stupid voucher for 2x eyebrow waxing one voucher to use today and the other another time. Because that's Leah's rule" and extra signs are in store.I was asked to take cash out

Had the most wonderful experience with Julie getting my waxing done. Julie was incredibly gentle, professional and paid great attention to detail. I’ve never really experienced that painless feeling before despite waxing for a number of years. Definitely recommend Julie at the Hurstville branch. Thank you Julie!

First time I experienced pain free waxing and my eyebrows were tinted perfectly

Dear Leah. I have been coming here 5 x a year for Brazilian and 12 plus for facial waxing and under arms legs arms etc. Today was my worst experience ever. I left in tears and I am still in tears. Xmas eve in the morning I came for a Brazilian.She made me cry and the moment I started I knew she was doing it wrong. I asked her why was she going side ways and not against the grain.She said this is how I do it.I said why are u not holding the skin. She just told me to hold my stomach. Anyways my hair is fine as and one rip it comes out. No snappy nothing because I had 12 laser treatments prior. So when the girls do it. They say wow your skin is like baby skin. But this lady. She ripped me and was doing it again and wouldn't hold skin down and kept saying oh darling sorry it's OK it's OK. U can tell English was a second language. I told her I do chemo every 3 weeks and hold my skin and she wouldn't. She kept hurting me and running out to another client but i am her client. In the end she said finished and as she left I said don't go. Where is my cloth with bacterial wipe to clean and stop me from infection? She left tube and 1000wax strips for me and wipes and said there and just gone in such a rush . No goodbye have a good day nothing. said finished and left.. I have been struggling to wash and to pee of the pain has hurt me entirely through my body. Usually it hurts only in the day but it's been 7 days and the same area where she ripped so hard just wont go away.and I am still n pain today. I will never go back but I have to as I left my shopping bag there. I am going back for a explanation. .Now this little box I'm writing this complaint on I can't see . So if there is mistakes I apologise. But I need someone to respond and I want compensation for what you have put me through. I will make it known never to come here. I am to go sfind a better place. Bring back the girls that looked after you. Not this trashy old lady. She's lovely but she is really evil. How can you do this do a customer who clearly knows all that you are doing wrong. I know this because my cousin has her own beauty wax salon for 39years and in our town in nz and she's never hurt me and neither has the other workers until last week. She needs to be fired. I'm not one to make people lose jobs but she's too old for this profession or she need to stick to something else like knitting or something. That was disgusting . She has scarred me for life.

The lady servicing me was friendly enough and made polite conversation however I couldn’t reply (from pain) as strip wax was used on the entirety of my Brazilian causing burns and tears everywhere. Even the Therapist was apologetic as she saw the pain it was causing but it’s clearly procedure to keep costs down at this salon.I would not recommend or go back.

Lady from the salon went out of her way to help me with finding my phone. She was so courteous and pleasant. Would recommend to use this business

I’ve gone twice the past month and the first time i was told 20 minutes. Ended up waiting 1hour. Next time I booked an appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait and still not told a wait time 15 minutes past the appointment. Ladies were always rude, and I understand being busy that’s not the problem. Their time management and customer service skills are extremely poor.
