Jeff's is a treasure trove of books, both fiction and non-fiction. I call the owner Caitlin a book whisperer when describing her to others: I tell her what I'm looking for and she knows exactly what I'm after! I've picked up some real crackers here both for myself and as gifts for others.

Amazing, eclectic book shop. All second hand and a huge variety to choose from. It is a bookshop from the good old days! Found some volumes for a collection I didn't know I was missing!

I found a book here For which I have been searching for years! I couldn't believe it! And very reasonably priced. Caitlin was fun to talk to, so a very happy and successful experience. When you go to Strath, make sure you drop in.

Suggest you ring to confirm when this shop is open . We waited 35 min after the 10am opening time (confirmed by a clock on the door) to be told by a local it could be 11 or later. We had detoured to visit this shop only to be disappointed as we couldn't wait for an unknown amount of time. At least 4 potential customers walked away during the time we were waiting.

Just called in on the off chance after lunch. Loved the inside of the shop, so many books, and a knowledgeable and friendly assistant. Didn't intend to buy anything, but walked out having brought 6 books. We live in Strathalbyn, can't believe we haven't been in before, but we will be going back in the future.
