Alligator Creek Swimming Area
Having not visited since the construction and redevelopment of the area it was great to see the updates. The swimming hole is very accessible now for the majority of people. A nice place too have a swim and cool off but definitely pick your day and time to avoid peak times.

This place is absolutely beautiful, we did the hike up to the infinity pools and quite unexpectedly came across a wild pig on the track on the way up!

Such an amazing place! So close to access and a great little swimming hole. Plenty of room for a few and the short walk to the lookout is also nice.Can venture up the creek a little to get away from the main area too. Definitely worth the detour!

Great place near Ayr. Nice little swim hole to chill and relax. Will go check out the waterfall next time. Campsite on the grounds too. Not the biggest swimming hole, but once none the less

Nice spot for a walk or swim. Very pictuesque. Good ammenities at day use area. Water level and flow can naturally vary depending on recent weather, but usually great for a swim.

Great natural swimming spot relative close to the Highway A1 for a fresh on the road :)You can also spend the night in the national camping area for 6$ pp.

Good place to have picnic by the stream or nice shade and table to enjoy food .. but no garbage bin in the whole area.

A peaceful and stunning spot! There are picnic and BBQ areas or you can sit on the creek bed if you venture a bit further out. There is an accessible board walk down to the water. Visited in June and still plenty of water for swimming if you don't mind cold water.

Great spot for a swim, although it was a bit chilly when I was there in early August. Well marked walking tracks.

Alligator Creek Swimming Area
Great place to swim in flowing fresh water stream and ponds. National Parks & Wildlife have done a great job in maintaining the paths and burning off the scrub for safety. There are many places you can swim without any over crowding during the summer months.
