After moving to Northcote and Googling salons close to me, I chose Hair by Épique due to the incredible 5 star reviews from every customer. It's been probably the best salon experience I've ever had - and I've had a lot! After years of dye jobs and every cut under the sun, Mish and the team were dedicated to giving me amazing hair from my first appointment. Thoroughly assessing the damage and creating a plan to bring my hair back to life, each appointment I've had at Hair by Épique has left me feeling amazing, and my hair feels softer, thicker and well on the way to recovery. It's the first time I've experienced my hairdresser crafting a hair plan for me (that I love) and gets to work on it as soon as I arrive, without having to ask me what it is we're supposed to be doing. The staff are lovely and refreshing, the vibe is relaxed and welcoming and the results are always top notch. Thanks so much team!

I've been to the salon about three times now, and every time I am greeted by amazing service and amazing people. Mish and her team are such lovely people who definitely show their experience through the hairstyles you are left with. I started out with a terrible home bleach job, and turned towards Hair by Epique for a miracle recovery. They definitely exceeded my exceptions, which has made me want to go back more and more to see what other amazing hairstyles they can come up with!

Firstly, 5 stars is not enough! What an outstanding experience start to finish! I contacted Mishane as I was flying into Melbourne for 3 days only, she was able to move some appointments to fit me in which was the first wow. Then 7 hours later I walked out with the best unicorn hair I ever could have asked for. The team were friendly and welcoming, even offered to pick up some lunch for me as I was there a while. I loved being part of the planning of the colours but really love that Mish also was concerned about what I'd want to do next and the condition of my hair.Outstanding experience from start to finish, I only wish I lived in Melbourne and could make this a regular thing!

Mish, Alexis and Imad provided one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had. I felt so comfortable and they were incredibly fun to spend the better part of a day with, not to mention the best hair colour and haircut experiences I’ve had in a long time. Could not recommend enough!!

I had never colored or even had my hair cut in a salon before and was so extremely nervous. However, the staff at Epique made me feel so comfortable and safe. Not only does my hair look and feel amazing, the entire experience was so incredible. I appreciate all that the staff did for me while I was there. 5 stars is just not enough.

Wonderfully friendly staff and disability accessible. Tea and biscuits provided and they definitely know what they're doing when it comes to hair. We were made to feel at home whilst having a wash and blow-dry.

I contacted Mish via Instagram, after a recommendation from a friend, and I could not be more satisfied! The whole team at Hair by Epique is fantastic, very polite, with good energy and helpful. I did a first-time colour transformation, adding some purple highlights in my hair, and Mish was extremely careful and upfront, honest from the start. I felt very comfortable since I stepped in the salon, and you can tell straight away that Mish is very good at what she does, as well as her team :) Imad cut my hair and I found him very lovely, and Alexis is also a gem ❤️

I really look forward to my appointments with Epique. They genuinely care about the whole person, not just the hair. Mish and Imad, and the whole staff, are absolute treasures who give straightforward hair advice, make smart, professional suggestions, and genuinely make an effort to accommodate my ludicrous schedule. They even found time to fit my daughter in for a last minute cut when she surprised me with a visit from interstate, and now she won't let anyone else cut her hair. If you haven't visited this salon before, do yourself a favour - they are skilled professionals, you'll be supporting a small business, and you might end up looking forward to your time with them as much as I do!
