Absolutely disgusted with the lack of care, I presented Saturday saying I believe I have a chest infection and need antibiotics. I had no other choice as the clinic was closed. Nurses said I just have the flu and sent me away, I wasn’t given a chance to see a doctor. Today (Monday) I’m back with full blown pneumonia. Thanks for nothing

Presented to the GP with severe right side abdomen pain and the GP took me straight back to the ward/ED. For 48 hours I was loaded up on antibiotics, morphine, and fentanyl to just be sent home still in severe pain to go consult with my GP, without Roxby running any tests such as bloods or anything. Said possible appendicitis but had no fever which you don’t always get with it, which is why they sent me home instead of to another hospital for more tests.Day after I got home to Adelaide, I presented to a different hospital with the same symptoms, who ended up doing surgery the next day and taking my appendix out.Not necessarily the nurses fault at Roxby, they were mostly lovely and caring, the doctor who was on however was my issue.
