Woolworths have turned into Coles. 12 self serve checkouts, 2 lanes open with staff at 6pm. You have lost my business after 30+ years.I will shop at Aldi since you provide no service, I might as well save 10-20% on my weekly shop.

I am currently in a wheelchair, unable to walk and bedridden for six weeks. I enter Brighton Woolworths and after shopping for about 10 minutes I am told to “slowdown“, and I am alerted to the fact that I am “in a mobility scooter“. This was said in an incredibly patronising tone, almost as though I don’t fit the mould is someone in a wheelchair therefore discriminated against. I would deem this store to not be wheelchair accessible and I won’t bring my business here again

Good supermarket but unfortunately there is no toilet paper this is very bad because when people take a poop they need some paper. You need to fix the lack of toilet paper because otherwise we will have to resort to using leaves.

Really hate the low numbers of checkouts with staff attending. I had a little one with me so unable to wait for trolley loads to be processed at the staffed checkouts. I was forced to use self-checkout while juggling a small child while the machine was not able to register the weight of products, making an already frustrating process worse. If I wanted to scan and pack groceries I would have applied for a bloody job there. The icing on top was when the staff member had to override the machine so I could proceed, there is a video that gets replayed to prove I’m not a bloody thief. PUT ON MORE STAFFED CHECKOUTS

Very rude staff!!I was going to buy some drinks, because they were on sale.But when i was checked the price through the self-machine, there were not on sale.so i called the staff, and i asked her to cancel it.She came up with a curt look, touched the screen with a gesture of annoyance, and canceled it, sighing loudly as if I were to listen.what the…? was i wrong something?I said the price was wrong and politely asked for cancellation.And when I finished paying in a very bad mood and looked around, she wasn't being blunt to white grandmother.I was so dumbfounded and angry at the sight. I felt racist but funny she was Asian like me.I don't know if there are several Oriental female employees in your store, but the Oriental female employee I met needs service training!

The Woolworths Brighton supermarket has everything you need and is easy to navigate. There is ample parking behind store however spaces are also taken by those shopping on busy Church Street. They still have the old metal trolleys (thank god) unlike the Moorabbin store which has new smaller recycled plastic trolleys with no brakes (which astounds me when Moorabbin car park on a slope). The store has been updated and is as spacious as the Highett and Southland stores and the aisles are spacious, unlike Bentleigh store.

No longer recycling soft plastics, this is due to more people doing the right thing so red cycle under too much pressure to operate. The big supermarkets need to do better to reduce their impact, this is not an acceptable excuse
