Was told by male staff member that I was required to wear a mask in the store, I advised him that I have a medical exemption, to which he rolled his eyes and made me feel bad about having a medical condition, which prevents me being able to wear a masked. I hope all staff do not have an ableist mentality.

I was there today and before I had taken five steps in I felt aggressively attacked by an obnoxious young male (dark hair and facial hair) to pull my mask up. He’s attitude yelling in my face was abusive and then kicking us out was the worst I’ve ever been treated, people should never be spoken to in that manner. (Disgraceful)

Unfortunately this store is run by a very unpleasant man who was incredibly rude to a number of customers in the op shop while we were there. My friend has an medical exemption and he was exceptionally aggressive in ordering her out. Very poor service from a community organisation. We will never donate goods here again after seeing this level of discrimination.

A large store, with quite a diverse range of products. The shop is very well presented and is easy to locate the merchandise that is of interest. Unfortunately as is the case with many of these stores now, the prices are higher than expected, given the goods are donated.

Best salvos ever! Huge variety and well set out. You walk in and it's presented very tastefully like a regular store. Clearly lots of effort put into the space. Lots of great finds to be had. Clothes in size order which is very useful. Loads of plates, brick a brac, shoes, clothes etc.

Visited 27/06/23. Absolutely disgusted at how rude one of the workers there was. Lady with very short hair bit my head off while l was looking at DVDs. No need to be rude to customers for looking or browsing. Have been there many times as a resident of Cowes, but never experienced this.

Salvos Stores Cowes
Has lots of items to sell from clothing to glasses, tables and chairs, bikes, etc. Most are used but some are new or close to it. Buying from here means the money goes to the Salvos to help their various causes. Usually has nice warm coats. It just takes time to find what you want. Give them a go.
